We booked two rooms built right outside the main building (in a prefab annex) and although they were small and basic, they had all that we needed. They were quiet, the AC worked well, the small bathrooms were clean and the beds comfortable enough. We also liked the neighbourhood around the hotel. Given the very expensive prices in Tokyo, this was the best we could find within our budget. The staff were friendly and accommodating and I'd like to mention that Mr Owatari, who was the person who was almost always there, was extremely friendly and went beyond his obligations to help us in whatever we needed, he even gave some presents to our kids!

Don't expect any luxury

Very friendly staff. Accommodated an earlier check in. The owners even gifted me some brand new sandals as it was summer. So unexpected and so lovely. Close to a couple of convenient stores, 2 different train lines and many lovely restaurants with very cheap and delicious foods. It was the perfect location.

I questioned them about 3 days into my stay as to why the room hadn't been serviced yet. Apparently I had to actually request it. I thought it would be done at least every two days because they gave me 2 sets of towels to use. But as soon as I asked they had it serviced the very next day :)

For the price that below capsule bed, it gives more than just capsule bed. My room have fridge, enough space for double bed, clothes hanger, even small desk and chair. I am in 105, so glad they give me room downstair bcause my feet hurt even to take stairs. The shared shower and toilet near room. They got coin wash and dryer too. Station nakai is perfect for me, rather quite station but oedo line gives perfect access to shibuya, shinjuku and many hip places.

Nothing.

It's very convenient. There are a lot of good restaurants around the area. It's also really close to the station.

Some areas were not thoroughly cleaned like the sink and the toilets. The dormitory is air-conditioned, but it doesn't really reach the bed bunk area. It was a bit hot inside the bed bunks.

Comfortable bed, big spacious room, 24 hour open access, smoking area, water supplies, kitchen, friendly female receptionist, awesome ramen place next to Nakai pedestrian crossing.

Small toilet, emergency exit light is way too bright in the room, right next to train tracks of station, Nakai is a bit of an awkward train stop, have to change a bit to get to popular areas,

It was a nice double bed instead of two singles like most places in Japan I've stayed. Had our own shower and toilet.

It was not the cleanest place I've stayed and the cafe/bar was not open and was only a tiny little area

There is free instant coffee and lovely banana cookies.

Its quite away from the centre, security could be better. Its not really suitable for single travellers who want to mingle with other travellers as it was just asian woman in my dorm and they speak to noone.

Great and helpful staff, nice beds, lots of space. Lots of people and a decently sized common room. And access from both sides of the building.

It's a tumble dryer. 4 tshirts and 6 pairs of socks and underwear took over 60 minutes to dry, before I gave up and took it out. Leaving it out on my bed to dry further.

Close to a subway station. Very nice staff.

A bit far from the centre. The faucets are a bit loud when trying to sleep, as there are no doors/walls between the sleeping capsules and the sink area.
