Even though the hotel is near the "red light district" it is completly safe, never had a problem or fear during my stay. Great plus being near Ikebukuro station, as most trains and subways go through that station. It is really easy to move to and from the hotel. All the staff was really nice and helpful. Breakfast was mostly Japanese, which helps to immerse in the culture, but they had few other options if you are picky.

Could have more occidental breakfast options.

Very close to the train station and easy access to the convenient stores. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Yet, no noise from outside. Easy access to all the fun places and shops at Ikebukuro. The room was small and "almost" no view from the window (facing the wall of the neighboring building), yet this is what you get for the price, I think. It did not cause any problems to me. Yet, the window aspect was a bit of a drawback, I found. Overall, it was a comfortable and nice stay. No problems whatsoever during my stay.

Simple, clean room, enough space since suitcases can fit under the bed. Location is close to Ikebukuro station is a pretty good starting point to explore Tokyo. Convenient washing machines and vending machines in the lobby.

One big blanket for a double bed and instead of a 2nd set of bedding, you can only get a thin additional blanket.

1. With breakfast that is different everyday. 2. Location near station. 3. Change towels everyday. 4. Provides shower cap, toothbrush, cleaning supplies….at lobby.

1. Shower gel quality not good. 2. Electric socket not enough especially missing for type C head. 3. Not enough hangers. 4. No coffee sachet for drinking during nighttime. 5. The room is a bit too small, can’t lay flat of my suitcase!

Very clean hotel with a good position near Ikebukuro station.

No windows to be opened in the camera. Available only Asiatic breakfast: being Italian, has been quite difficult to get used to Asiatic breakfast. If you prefer biscuits and croissant to meat/fish and rice, I suggest you not to include breakfast in the reservation. In any case it is a nice experience to do.
