It is a onsen hotel for families, could bring kids into onsen. Breakfast was decent, not much variety but there was the essential like eggs, bread, cereals

Understand that there is no housekeeping but should help foreigners with setting up their futon beds. But this is not a deal breaker.

The front desk staff were helpful, kind, and professional. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and good quality food. The breakfast staff were also very professional, kind, and friendly. The futons were comfortable. Everything was very clean in the room. We had a Japanese style room which was very spacious. It’s an onsen style hotel, which might not be to everyone’s taste. We didn’t use the onsen, but we have heard that it is lovely.

Location is inconvenient for travellers arriving by train at Yudaonsen station. The station is very small and there were no taxis around. We rolled our bags about 25 minutes to get to the hotel. (We had wanted to stay near ShinYamaguchi, but all hotels were booked up and Centcore in Yudaonsen was the closest we could get.)The lobby and restaurant are nice and bright and open, but upstairs the hallway carpets were stained and the room felt like it had seen better days with a bit of wear and tear.
