The hotel is very good located. The bus to the Akiyoshido Cave stops in front of the hotel room! There are 3x foot Onsen by 10 min walk distance max. Tons of food choices and one-day trip options. The rooms have the usual Japanese hotel sizes, the breakfast costs 900¥ but we didn’t like it so much (you get what you pay for), so we went outside for breakfast most days. This is a very convenient stay if you want to discover the nature wonders of the Yamaguchi region!!!

It was a very good experience. The room is small, but has still enough space for two people with two big suitcases. The bed is comfortable, the Wifi reliable, the shower immediately and consistently hot. There are soap and shampoo, a hairdryer in the bathroom, a kettle as well as tea glasses in the bedroom and more amenities next to the reception (tea, coffee, tooth brushes, ...) The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Yudaonsen Station (easily doable with large suitcases), and across the street is the bus stop for the bus to Akiyoshi Cave. Perfect! Big plus: - the breakfast, which is tasty and has a nice selection from western toast and croissant (and a toaster to warm them up) to Japanese dishes and even has green tea noodles with a very tasty soup. The coffee machine also has hot cocoa and chocolate coffee on offer (for people who like a sweet drink for breakfast). - the onsen next door, for which hotel guests get a discount if they buy tickets at reception. It has an outdoor area, a well-kept indoor area and a quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxing.

The room gets very warm at night if you don't cool it down before going to bed. There is air conditioning, but it is too loud to leave running overnight. This is of course a matter of personal taste, but for us it was hard to sleep well the first night. You should just be aware of this if you like your bedroom cool at night. We had to do the laundry in the hotel. It is convenient that there are washing machines and dryers (3 each), but the dryers are rather weak and it took us an hour to get the laundry dry enough. This also makes the process quite expensive. It's a detail, but we had other accommodation where the dryers were a lot more efficient.

A large hotel where we had a great rest after hiking around the volcanoes. We got cleaned up, did our laundry, and enjoyed the onsen. Nice view of the fields and mountains.

The only downside was the noise — it was quite busy and a bit loud at times

Staff was professional and helpful. Room was pretty interesting- including giant massage chair and large window between room and bathroom. Overall comfortable stay.

Everything, staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was nice and clean. Facilities were good and I can highly recommend the Onsen, I loved it!

The location is great, the staff are super nice and accomodating.

The breakfast could be included in the room price but oh well.

The room was very comfy but the staff did not asked if the people who will occupy the double room is a couple or not. We did not expect that the bathroom would have a glass window.
