The hotel was kind enough to let us check in very late at night. They also had a free ice cream and curry service which was a pleasant surprise! In terms of facilities, they were fairly average. Also the room size was decent.

The air conditioning was on the older method of usage. Basically three buttons for low, medium, and high near the bed. I've experienced difficulties in the past with similar air cons (ex. heating instead of cooling, not working, not knowing temp, etc), but thankfully you could feel the one in this hotel working. Also, for those who care, its a small tv, but that did not effect the comfort of our stay.

Location was great, we can go to Oyasukyo, Yukawa by using road near hotel. Breakfast is good. the hotel have public bathing for man and meal for customers in evening i.e. rice, curry, soup and ice creams. The room was wide, clean and quiet. Staffs were kind, polite and have service mind, they help us a lot. Recommend to spend time in Yokote.

Everything else.

If lights are switched off by taking the key out of the slot, all electricity is gone. I need electricity for my sleep apnea Cpap machine and charging my phone. I had to unplug the lamp on the ceiling by opening it.

This is old hotel but you can see they did upgrade some facilities. There are smart TV and ceiling in hotel room. Room is clean. They also provide free curry for dinner.

Quite impressed with offerings such as free curry dinner, free ice cream, free snacks and free drinks. Also nice to offer pillow choices.

Location is not very 'central'. It's rather a long walk from the train station and a bit isolated. Also, noted that onsen/sento is only for male guests, which does not seem fair. Hotel has a nice information sheet on restaurants in the area - but would be helpful to highlight those open on Sunday since virtually all are close that day. (We solved by going to an unlisted nearby sushi place found on Google.) Some visitors may also be confused as hotel building on the main road is not in use - so you have to find you way to the main building behind.
