Comfortable, good location slightly out of town, excellent breakfast Organizations of trips available, including mount Kenya. We went through Sirimon path and went on the other side with chogoria path to see both sides (which we really advise as the scenery is very different). The owner has good recommendations of guides who can come to discuss the trip and pick you up for departure. Material is available (gloves, jacket, etc) and you can leave your own bags or bikes at the hotel. We really recommend asking for Martin as a guide - kind, attentive, discrete but eager to talk about the country if wished.

The place was easy to find and very well located (right off the main Meru rd), which for a business trip was excellent. Also the beds were very comfortable.. the evening highlight was a awesome bonfire where we enjoyed drinks and bitings with the very attentive owner, who went out of his way to make us comfortable.. I really liked the place and highly recommend it..

There's nothing I didn't like... I was comfortable and the owner operator was literally at our beck and call. Thanks Mr. Obadiah.. we had a great time!

The owner Obadiah has been very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice, spacious and clean. The beds are comfy and you have your own livingspace, small kitchen and bathroom. Obadiah connected me with a very nice guide called James, for the Mount Kenya hike I did the last days. For me it was the perfect place to stay, I would highly recommend it to everybody, rather solo traveller or family!

We had a very nice dinner and breakfast was complete and well prepared. Obediah was very helpful and did not allow anything to affect our comfort.

Finding the place was a little difficult, at the end of a dirt road. Recommend you call for directions (although instructions on google maps are fairly accurate).

This was an improptu decision to spend the night and we did not regret our choice. Obadiah and Lydia were very accommodating, understanding and helpful. The room (which was more like a studio apartment) was pristine, had everything we needed and comfortable bed.

The Wi-fi was on the blink but this did not detract from our stay as we were only there for a night. Water pressure in the shower could be better but again this isnt such a big deal.

Sweet little guesthouse, very nicely done. Simple and clean. Quiet location. Nice touch that there are chairs outside the rooms for relaxing outdoors and the courtyard is decorated with hanging plants. I didn't realize when booking that the rooms included kitchenettes, which was an added bonus. Obadiah is an excellent host, full of information and ready to please.

Everything went well in rafiki house the house is located in a secluded place obadiah went to another level to take care of the host when he saw that I’m in a motorcycle he took me out for dinner fixed my motorcycle and escorted me till the next town you will feel like you are back home and the breakfast was generous and delicious he has a born fire and barbecue setup thanks bro

A peaceful and quiet place on the outskirts of Nanyuki. Very helpful and friendly host, comfortable rooms and nice breakfast. Evening dinner needs to be ordered in advance as the place does not have a classical restaurant, but dishes are prepared individually for the guests.

We stayed one night at Rafiki house and really enjoyed it, the location is just outside Nanyuki with easy acces to Mount Kenya park. The host really makes you feel at home and breakfast is so well taken care of. Safe place and you can park your car on premise.

Breakfast was lovely. Obadiah goes to every length to ensure his guests are happy. Eggs any way you like, and delicious cake!
