A great spot for a getaway to Nanyuki. The Inn is tucked away from the hub bub. There's a nice restaurant on site that provides a good breakfast and is valuable for other meals. The rooms are a good size with a large bed. Everything is very clean. It's a great space to explore the nearby conservation areas including Ol Pejeta and Ngare Ndare. Kelvin is an excellent host and the other staff are top notch. He took great care of us and also arranged the logistics for our activities. There are also some great local restaurants nearby. High value for reasonable prices. We expect to return!

You'll need to buy cold drinks or bring a cooler. Also bring soap and shampoo.

The staff here were really friendly and happy to help with anything. We loved how quiet it was and my friend got the best sleep she’s had in weeks. There’s a super friendly dog, but doesn’t bother you if you’re not a dog lover, and good breakfast. Some of the menu choices were not available , not sure if that was due to the time of year. If you are thinking of doing safari around here we had an amazing time at buffalo springs and Ol pojeta , both with Dusty rest safaris who are local , know their stuff and really affordable! On Google etc.

It’s a little bit out of town but that’s what makes it quiet. Easy to get a taxi, we got some supplies from town and walked into town one of the days.

Tucked away just 300m off the main road is a lovely inn with attentive staff, comfortable rooms, great showers, cold beers, good food and substantial fresh breakfasts. It is quiet and tranquil. We were well looked after and the team of Kevin, Lilian and Frieda went the extra mile - an umbrella escort from our car when we arrived in the rain, fire lit in the dining room even though we were the only diners at the time and our car was washed the morning we checked out.

Friendly staff & secluded location. Lots of outdoor seating. Breakfast was nice - English breakfast with a side of crepes.

Property is set back about 300m from the main road. The signage is good from the main road so you’ll find it. I noticed on one map it was listed under its former name as Penguin Inn. There was some repair work going on right outside our window. Someone was cutting tiles and it did make quite a bit of noise. Travelers note there was no a/c or heating unit in the room. Our stay was comfortable but take this into account if you’re a person who likes to control room temperature. Finally the toilet water supply was turned off (to fill the cistern). This was easily rectified once we knew what to do but it is curious it was turned off in the first place!

A lovely, small and quiet inn just outside the centre of Nanyuki. Staff are welcoming and go out of their way to please you, room and bathroom spacious and immaculately clean. Comfortable bed, excellent water pressure in the shower, a desk, tea and coffee facilities and a strong wifi. Ample breakfast and a complimentary wash of our very dusty car.

A glass of juice at breakfast would be nice and the steel wires in the parking concrete are a tire puncture hazard.

The cleanliness, serene..I loved it Kelvin was very helpful..thank you Very homely and safe I loved that they provided me with hot water bottles when it got too cold.Thank you and sorry for waking you up. Also thank you to the guard (Kirianki) for cleaning my car. Overall an awesome place for a solo traveller as it's not crowded.

Please put another signage at the first gate on that road.. otherwise straight forward location. Nothing.

The staff were really nice and helpful. We received exceptional service from the staff members especially Kevin. The kids needs were well taken care of. Its a nice place to relax, with such great ambience and in sync with nature. The food is amazing with such large portions and freshly cooked. The security guard, Kirianki, was also kind enough to wash our car for us. Looking forward to staying here again!

Kelvin and his staff were extremely helpful and kind, organising two trips for us for good value for money. Breakfast was exceptional and so was dinner (the menu curated by chef Kelvin), with good diversity of dishes. They even provided mosquito nets for us to feel safe (even though there were none). Beds were nice (not too soft matresses). The place is recluded, quiet and green.

The location is super , it's hidden from the main roads, so so silent. Room great size, bathroom fair enough. Breakfast and coffee stunning. All the guys for the staff very friendly and efficient. The dog is the most polite and cuddly ever

The matress is little hard

Very picturesque old converted farmhouse, as per the name. Decent facilities. Breakfast is adequate, not more. Lovely garden. Fenced and gated, very secure.

Quite old, and falling apart in places. The bathroom tiles are dangerously slippery - we all of us nearly fell several times!! The access road isn't really - only for ATVs. Not all the staff has a high level of competency.
