The staff were incredibly kind and the accommodations were clean and comfortable. Everything seemed new and modern. We enjoyed Toasted Oak as well (great drinks with a fun vibe)

The location was kind of far from a lot of activities. We were going back and forth with whether or not to stay in Birmingham just to be closer to more stores and activities. While the location was not the best, the accommodations were very comfortable and we would stay here again!

I love the modern take in the room. The room was also much larger than most hotel rooms. The couch gave it a homier feeling. It is always nice when you have seating options in the room. I also really loved all the seating options throughout the hotel.

The bed was not very comfortable. Quite hard and stiff. There was also some black mold in the bottom of the shower.

This hotel is close to the express way and lots of shopping.

The sign for the Hotel should be higher so that you can see it like GORMANS and if you've never been in that area, the entrance to the hotel is tricky but we found it. Also, the cost is a little pricey for what you get.

Staff were incredibly helpful and supportive, especially as i was travelling alone. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with superb Motown music playing whilst I ate.

Comfortable, nicely decorated rooms. Quiet. Nice ambiance throughout hotel.

Get paper menus in the restaurant. Nobody who is old enough to pay your room rates likes QR codes. Food in restaurant was mediocre. Salad was not fresh.

Nicest hotel in the area. Outstandingly gorgeous. Conveniently located. Exceptionally clean. Wonderfully quiet.

A recent stay in Las Vegas at this price point offered many, many more amenities. There are other hotels available in the area at a much lower price point. Only one staff member available at the front desk (could be hotel policy). On a Friday night I thought I would see more than one staff member in the lobby area.

Gracious and friendly. Loved the bar area. Attended the Ascension Friends Ball at Novi Showplace and the lady bartender even took a photo of me in my gown while I was waiting for the limo to pick me up.

Everything was perfect

Staff were excellent. Brett is particular was so friendly and welcoming, gave me good advice on what to see in Detroit. Room was a good size.

Shower was slightly dirty and wasn't sure I was given all info on check in. Had to ask about the gym and made me wonder what other services were available that I wasn't told about. Like free mint tea at the lobby. That was a really nice feature but if you're not told until you ask it makes you think you may be missing other perks.

We’ve been forced to stay at a hotel while our house is undergoing some updates and the hotel we chose previously, smelled and looked like an ancient artifact on the inside (sorry, Westin). The Baronette Renaissance was so clean and modern and is clearly very well maintained which truly gave us a huge sense of relief! The aesthetic of this hotel is absolutely beautiful and once you’re inside, or looking at their patio landscaping, it really doesn’t feel like you’re in Michigan! This hotel turned a not-so-ideal situation to the most comfortable little getaway. Highly recommend!
