Clean, really good location, size of room was ok for NY, rooms were cleaned daily. Queue for lift was good. We didn’t have to wait for long.

We had a long wait for check in. The bedroom lighting is very dark and we had no view of the city as we were on the 5th floor.

The location of the hotel was great! It is right in the heart of everything. My family and I felt very safe and secure staying at the Aliz Hotel.

The rooms and bathrooms are small. I also didn’t like the rudeness of one of the hotel staff that called my 73 year old father “stupid” when he asked her for help when we were trying to leave the hotel.

The location is great, very close to many tourist attractions and round the corner from the main bus/subway terminal for journeys further afield. The hotel was lovely and clean, never heard any noises from other rooms and was able to sleep well after a busy day. The breakfast was nice unfortunately didn't get to try the rooftop bar.

The only thing I can mark the hotel down on was the lack of laundry facilities. We had a couple of days of heavy rain which meant our clothes and shoes were soaked through, we would have greatly benefitted from having a facility to dry those rather than hang them around our room for a number of.days to dry before heading back home.

Excellent location - convenient, as clean and safe as NYC allows. Comfortable beds.

The room was tiny, there was no view of anything. The bed was tight for 2 adults. The elevators were always super crowded and busy. The lobby was also very crowded all the time. The breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was a joke.

Excellent and professional staff. Clean and comfy beds. Some construction outside but excellent overall and great location. Hotel set up our flat rate return transportation with Justin that was exceptional. No hidden fees and able to store luggage easily.

Loved the room .... had a amazing view out of our window never thought I'd be able to see the empire state building amongst other landmarks from my room ! All with in a 20 minute walk in all directions of some major sites Rooms were clean ... shower was decent ! The rooftop bar was beautiful ... prices no different to any other top rooftop bars in new york Never really spoke to staff much but they seemed nice when spoken too :)

Only thing I will say is we travelled as a 3 .... they would only give 2 tokens for a free drink at the bar which kind of made no sense ! But you take what you can get :) made no major odds to us

I liked the clean room, comfortable bed, lots of towels, updated room, free coffee, free bottled water each day, free flavored water in reception, voucher for drinks/bar, service to hold our luggage prior to check in and after check out. Also, the restrooms downstairs where I was able to change while not having the room ready prior to check in and after checking out. Location was excellent!

We booked a room with 2 beds but there was only one set or robe and slippers. Room size was adequate but could have been roomier. Noise within the hotel late night and from outside kept me up some.

Let me start by saying we TRULY enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The only reason I’m writing this review is because I’m a research review girlie, so I’m sure this can help someone else out! I booked this hotel with the option of being able to pay upon arrival at the property. Check-in process was an absolute breeze with Lateiise( forgive me if spelt incorrectly), you receive your two free drink vouchers and your free meal chip which can be used at anytime during your stay! Our hotel room was just as pictured in the advertisements. I booked a Deluxe King, for the sole purpose of having a higher floor with a great view, which we got on the 39th floor!!! Also, a great feature is that your room key can only take you to your floor and the elevators only operate with either your room key or a staff members key! This gave a super safe feeling seeing that the hotel is open 24 hours. Our room was nice and clean, of course it’s going to look slightly smaller than the photos but it was sufficient enough for us (2). We had a great view of the city, we could have seen the Empire State Building, the Edge Observation Deck (which we walked to, took about 40mins) and somehow my partner managed to see the Statue of Liberty (I wear glasses). Farm to Burger food was really nice, we ordered a Caesar salad, quesadillas, fries and a salmon burger which were all really good! Next door is Beer Authority, food was ok there but a nice chill spot. Staff were very accommodating and nice. I’m from The Bahamas and work in the hospitality industry and work in one of our major resorts, so I knew what qualities to look for in this stay. Overall, I gave this hotel a 9/10, ONLY because the noise levels on the outside were very loud from Our room even being so high up (39 floor). Also, we literally walked EVERYWHERE, to Apple on 5th Ave, to Hudson Yards, literally everywhere. It’s so close to Times Square and we were also able to navigate with using GPS on our phones.

The staff was very nice , friendly and accommodating . The hotel lobby was nice , but very small . The rooms were small but nicely decorated and clean . The location is good and you can easily walk to a lot of the tourist things you might want to do while visiting New York. I will say that some people might not be comfortable with the area . There are a lot of people doing drugs on the block . We felt generally safe, but some people might not . Also it's worth mentioning that next door is the department of corrections lol . We did walk around Times Square a lot and I noticed that there are homeless people all around those hotels as well . We had a great time and my kids really loved the hotel .

We loved the location especially if driving in yourself for the first time. It’s only a hop and a skip from the tunnel. The staff is wonderful, they make u feel welcomed even if it’s your first time in NYC they are patient with you. Hotel room was clean, shower and bathroom is nice. Stand up shower with wand was nice and NY’s water is one of the best. We definitely will be back and we’ll probably be coming back to this same spot.

There’s nothing really not to like about the property, beds maybe a little stiff or maybe having some bottled water in fridge would be nice but I don’t have anything really bad to say about the place.
