The location was perfect as I was hosting several colleagues in the area - so we were able to meet for meals and shows without any of us traveling extensively throughout the city. The bathroom was fantastic and so comfortable. The handheld wand made the rainfall ceiling mount even more enjoyable as I was able to rinse with it and enjoy the relaxing rainfall simultaneously. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the variety of lighting options available from the entry to the bathroom to the main area of the room. I was able to see rooms on the unrenovated floors of the hotel, so know that I was in the newest and best on the property.

I was advised at check-in that there was renovation work occurring on the floor above me and it was definitely louder and more non-stip throughout the day than I expected, like hammering and cutting (regular construction sounds), but was surprised to hear a very loud grinding noise, consistently from 9 am-5 pm. I noticed that some of the furniture pieces were scuffed and worn, clearly from pre-renovation but nothing that was not functional. The lobby/breakfast area was not comfortable or inviting, maybe that will be updated/modified with the renovation but for this stay it was not a place I wanted to be.

I am a New Yorker and I can tell you that the location of the Hotel is prime for the Broadway Theaters, Central Park, Columbus Circle, Nightlife, shopping, sightseeing and quick mass transportation to other parts of the city. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Some of the Hotel rooms have been renovated. This hotel is a good value for New York City. The newer room pictures on booking site is what i received. Fresh, clean and new. Professional and welcoming helpful staff. Plenty of places to get a coffee or eat around the hotel. Walking distance to a lot of places.

Breakfast and coffee should have been incuded in the pricew in such a good hotel standard. At least cofee available in the reception area. We asked but got a negative reply. In the correspondance prior to arriving we expected this included as a "grab and go",

Let’s start with the location. The location is PERFECT. A stone’s throw away from Times Square, the metro that takes you to anywhere you like in New York City is literally around the corner, the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The room in general was spacious with a comfortable bed, fast WiFi connection and great view of the city! We were warned regarding noise from the building works for the renovation but never heard a thing!

Honestly, it wasn’t a big deal but the room from the photo looked rather different than the actual room in person. The photos of the room looked a lot more modern whereas the room we were given looked quite out of date, which, I guess was the reason why they were doing renovations but nevertheless, it was still a great stay and would definitely be staying again😊

Maxine at the front desk is the most beautiful person inside & out, I can’t say enough good things about her, with warm reception & and welcoming smile. After a long travel day the last thing I wanted was a long & confusing check-in but she made it smooth & quickly. I loved my room.….I have been working in NYC for many years as I commute from CT. When I have back to back Director meetings it’s easier to stay in the city. I have never considered this location. Now I have made a second home. I also will never ever book through Booking.com again, they messed up my reservation Something terrible. Too long to explain but simply stating had me booked in three different rooms. They were charging my credit card all day and night and Maxine was able to put that fire out immediately. Don’t do it, call the hotel directly you will have less headaches & a cheaper rate.

We really loved the convenience of the location to all nearby landmarks and attractions. We want to give Tenzin and Racquel thanks for helping us during check-in. The staff did a great job keeping the property maintained. This was probably the first time in all my travels, the hotel was located properly.

I didn't care for the complementary breakfast, however; I appreciate having somethings to get started with. The #4 elevator should only have buttons for the couple of floors you can reach. I wish the hotels had some type of partnership with the attractions and food places, this might help the locations get additional business.

It was a little warm in out room.

The location was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful and it was great having a little shop on site. The room we had - although not renovated - was huge and very clean. I know the hotel is undergoing renovations and for the first two nights we had a newly renovated room which was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. Unfortunately the bed layouts didn’t suit our needs with 2 kids. The staff were brilliant and sorted out a new room.

The room needed blockout blinds that fitted the windows. I know that in the newly renovated rooms this has been addressed. I look forward to seeing the changes to the hotel.
