I liked my room; it was sunny, spacious and comfortable. The cleaning staff did a great job arranging the room before my arrival. Everything was clean, functional, and well maintained. Many thanks to Pieter at the reception for his excellent recommendations for the local area as well as near Alkmaar. I visited almost every place he recommended; just superb recommendations! I appreciated the extra time he took to printout bus directions to reach Aalsmeer Flower Auction. This was above and beyond expectations. Thank you also to Marielle for her help on directions to the night and day flower parades. I would definitely stay here again.

The uncertainty of pool hours due to swimming lessons when the pool is not available for guests. It would be helpful to have pool hours clearly stated in the materials given to guests. Long check-in line on the day of arrival - it took nearly 30 minutes.

This hotel is in an absolutely FABULOUS location to visit the area flower fields in the Spring — you can drive just a few minutes to many of them or even walk 3 minutes out the front door of the hotel and find yourself surrounded by tulips! Clean, quiet room. Extremely comfortable bed with good pillows. Nice rain shower with lots of hot water, good pressure and a free-flowing drain (shampoo and shower gel provided). Plenty of vanity space around the sink to set toiletries. Strong WiFi, lots of electrical outlets to charge devices. Giving guests drink coupons each day as a thanks for opting out of daily room cleaning is a nice touch. Pieter at check-in provided absolutely outstanding customer service — a super warm welcome and SO much information about the flower weekend festivities. He went above and beyond and is a great ambassador for the hotel.

There was no place in the room to set luggage other than on the floor. Other than this minor inconvenience, everything was great. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

-Room superior delux was not exact as seen in picture during booking. -no good window views/no balconies -ventilation/a.c. not functioning properly -only one direction emergency exit, which can be quite far for the opposite corner rooms -tv with not modern facilities and channels as expected

Breakfast was good. There was a good choice and it was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable, we had a superior room that was very spacious. The pool was an added bonus - great fun for the kids. Would happily stay again. The late check-out also meant we weren't in a rush which was so nice.

The rooms have central aircon and the room was very hot overnight, it wasn't great that we couldn't alter this. There is also an over powering strong perfume smell when you walk into the lobby which I found quite off-putting.

Rooms were a bit outdated and lack of ventilation in upper floor. Requested a fan and provided broken one twice. My assistance dog was challenged to enter the restaurant area despite having written confirmation of the hotel he could and was properly signaled as a service dog. Staff wasnt the most helpful or nice in general. Despite having 7 people in reception during the day and multiple shift managers, i found myself having to chase them for an extra towel, or the broken fan, or just waiting extra long while they took their sweet time for a simple question.

Very clean and comfortable. Quite with nice views of the flower fields in the spring. Very pet friendly. Plus the hotel is within walking distance of a bowling club and a casino.

The breakfast didn’t quite match the price. One of the ladies that made omllets ingnored completely what ingredients I want. And the next they we had to wait half of hour for some fried eggs. And other than that there is not too much variety. And terrible coffee, even for a hotel coffee.

Nice location near tulip fields and plenty of facilities with table tennis, table football, air hockey, pool table, swimming pool, gym

I thought the bowling alley could be updated. A limited number of balls with only the 10s having bigger finger holes so my son struggled with the tiny finger holes on the lighter balls. Also the breakfast was crazily expensive, over 21€ per person, so not worth it in any way with my daughter probably only wanting a couple of slices of toast. Food available in the lobby was very overpriced too, comparable to airport catering. Given the cost of the rooms it seemed excessive.

Beautiful property away from the city. Free parking was a nice amenity. Very clean with a very welcoming reception area. Nice gift store on sight. Bed was comfortable for a good nights sleep.

Pets were allowed and that is OK except for the dog next to our room that barked for over an hour in the morning hours. Room was very stark - reminded us of a hospital room with no decoration or warm homey feeling. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable and met our needs but very plain. We were told breakfast was only for tour groups - with being outside of the city, it would have been convenient to have been able to have breakfast on site.

Very helpful staff at reception. Great environmental rewards policy if you didn't require housekeeping or change of towels. Very nice touches for travelling with dogs and easy access to a woodland area with walkways to take them for a walk close to the hotel. The leisure and spa facilities were very nice and the hotel shop had a nice selection of gifts etc. Brilliant hotel to go to if you were organising a conference as they were very geared up for that, but it didn't detract if you were a individual guest and everything appeared very well run.

There was a lot to like about this hotel, especially the beautiful view of trees and birdlife from our room. Could open window and hear bird song. Comfortable bed. Tissues and hand cream provided in the bathroom. Great breakfast with a lot of variety. Plenty of free parking on site. Pleasant, helpful staff. Free lollies, doughnuts, and drinks available when checking in was a nice touch, welcoming, and very much appreciated, as was the inflated bouncy castle, and games provided.

Was a bit surprised to see a small basket for a dog in our room, and to hear the occasion bark from the corridor.
