Comfy room in a cosy hotel in the city center of Noordwijk aan Zee. Balcony appreciable in summer, even if besides the terrace of a youth hostel (the hotel provides earplugs in the room in case of). Walking distance from beach, pubs and restaurants. Parking option. Very good breakfast. Courteous and helpful staff. A favorite hotel in Noordwijk.

Not a big deal if you know beforehand and can organize yourself, but breakfast starts at 7:30 only, and the reception opens officially at 8:30 only, which is somewhat late when you are on a business trip.

The outside of the building isn't very encouraging on first view but the candles on the steps give a guide to the facilities inside which are lovely. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and allows for a later start. The bed was comfortable, good heavy curtains on the windows. Free toiletries in the bathroom were nice and little extras like earplugs are in the room. There is a lift to all floors. There is free tea & coffee available in the breakfast room at all times (machine).

Our room had a bad drainage smell at the end of our stay, due to rain and wind direction but still it spoilt the stay. The walls of the room are thin (we could hear next door and the kids running up the hall) and the rooms on the 3rd floor do have a balcony but are very small with not much space for putting bags. A shelf in the bathroom over the sink would be very helpful. reduced parking is available but that is at a public car park about 10 mins walk away. There is (pay) parking on the road at the front of the hotel if you can get a space.

Excellent location, close to the sea, also nearby there are shops, cafes, parking, everything you need for a great holiday. Breakfasts are very tasty and varied. Everything is thought out and provided in the room. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, it was not taken into account that cash payment was indicated during the booking and the funds were automatically debited from the card upon check-in.

Excellent value especially as complementary hot drinks were available throughout our stay as well as the very well provisioned breakfast buffet included in the price.

One of our rooms was slightly smaller than others and had limited space for clothing. (we were warned of this even when booking on line). Not an issue for us as we were only staying a single night on a cycling tour but might be an issue if staying for longer.

Lovely personnel - very helpful and kind! The breakfast was amazing too - quality food and drinks! Also, there is a cosy garden where you an enjoy your breakfast even more. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day including the bathrooms.

It was kind of noisy because of the building's structure and my bed board (or the wall behind it) was squeaking loudly every time the people in the room next to ours were walking.

It wasn't your average hotel - very unique in many ways. We were very close to the Beach (billed as a a Seaview room - we could see the sea quite well fhrough a gap between 2 buildings in front of us.) It was beautifully decorated, breakfast was brilliant, It was a short walk to the pale gold/whitish sandy beach where there were plenty of places to eat and drink. We loved our stay there and would definitely return.

I have walking disabilities and I had checked there was a lift in situ, which was great. However, when we got to the Hotel there were several steep stairs up to the entrance and with heavy cases to carry as well, it was very difficult for us (my friend had to do the case carrying honours twice as I had enough trouble just getting up there! If we'd been warned about these stairs, I think we would still have stayed there, but would have made sure we arranged for someone to help us on our arrival. When we were due to leave, we asked if there was another way out that didn't involve these stairs, and we were told there wasn't. But the receptionist and a guest took our cases down for us.

The hotel is very well maintained and in a good location. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive, and the service staff is excellent, always filling up the items that disappear. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming, the wifi is stable. We were very happy with our choice and would come back.

Rooms with balconies have no visual privacy to the room neighbors on the balcony. If the neighbor smokes, you inhale the smoke on the balcony. The free hotel bike was essentially one bike - we imagined at least a few bikes.

The position, the staff and the facilities were fantastic

Parking, prepare to walk quite a distance to the parking site, which is in fact the town main parking lot. Twin beds are a bit small for the bigger/taller person

The hotel itself is very chic, clean, it has a "homie" feeling, we enjoyed it a lot. It is very close to the beach and to the promenade, it has a parking nearby, 5 min walk, this was very helpful, as it was hard to find parking on a sunny day. Breakfast was very tasty, various foods and juices, coffee and tea available at all times, the staff very friendly, bathroom was new and clean. Top

no power point in the bathroom for the hairdryer. Not necessarily a huge problem but I washed my hair after my kids were asleep so drying it was tricky
