Haarlem is an attractive place ( I knew having visited as a day trip) and so easy to reach from the airport and much better value as well as being less crowded than Amsterdam but still with the attraction of many places in the Netherlands. I used a bus which took 40 minutes and goes regularly from directly outside the airport terminal. Top tip for this hotel get off at the last but one stop before Haarlem station, as it's closer to reach it.

Booked this for a family meet up in Amsterdam but didn't want to pay Amsterdam prices. Haarlem is in elegant little city and in easy reach of Amsterdam. This hotel is 10 minutes walk from Haarlem station and from there trains run reguarly to Amsterdam (only 15 minutes, 4 EUR) which makes it an ideal location for Amsterdam I was warmly welcomed to the hotel by the staff and the room was clean, tidy and the bed comfy. Nothing at all to complain about. A mini shop in reception selling drinks was a nice touch. Would not hesitate to stay here again next time i'm in the area

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with a couple of colleagues. The place was cozy and very clean, with modern amenities, a comfortable bed, and a great shower. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, offering a great start to the day. The hotel is located in a nice area, which is easily accessible by public transport. Plus, the center of Haarlem is within walking distance, making it a perfect spot for exploring the city. Highly recommended!

While our stay was pleasant, there were a few inconveniences. The check-in and check-out process took longer than expected, which was frustrating during a busy business trip. Additionally, generating the invoices took more time than anticipated. We also had to pay the city tax separately for each room, even though we had made one reservation, which was not very efficient.

The soap in dispenser in the bathroom irritated my skin i got really patchy red and didnt bring any body lotion something not sure what was in it

The only thing I would change is that the pillows were enormous. Slept at a weird angle and had a neck pain for a couple of days afterward. Maybe that was my own fault.

The hotel was in a good location. It was a short walk from the railway station and even closer to the main square of Haarlem and tourist attractions and shops. We liked the "dairy" theme throughout the hotel - lights like milk bottles, ice cream cones and churns etc. The bedroom was comfortable and there was air conditioning and a safety deposit box as well. The breakfast was good and varied but the cooked food was a bit limited.

The lighting could be improved in the bedroom. Also we didn't like the dispensers for the washing gel in the bathroom. A kettle in the room for tea and coffee would have been welcome.

The staff is helpful and friendly, room clean and comfortable, no coffee making facility. Location is about 500m away from restaurants, tourist attractions and convenient stores. About 1 km from train station - need to take bus as i travel with aged parents. Breakfast varieties just enough, include bread, jams, cereal, 3 fruit juices, yogurt, cheese, ham, egg, bacon, potato hash, pan cake.

The room is quite warm - centralise AC, not very comfortable, and the window sealed. The reward (free drink) for not having the daily cleaning service is not consistent - up to the person on duty.

The hotel is modern, clean, relaxed and friendly. The bed was comfortable and all facilities in good condition. The room was spacious and could easily have accommodated a comfortable chair and a second bedside table rather than the bean bag and a tiny shelf on the wall. We were allocated the wrong room when we booked in but that was corrected the following morning and we were given complimentary breakfasts for our stay as compensation which was very nice. The hotel is close to the bus stop to the station and to the centre of the old town. There are plenty of dinner options within a short walk. Haarlem is a great place to stay to visit Amsterdam and the surrounding area and towns. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Excellent location near a bus station. Staff is extraordinary and they really go the extra mile. The hotel feels safe, is clean and beds are comfortable. Is also near a lots of bars and restaurants and to Harlem city centre. They have luggage storage for extra convenience.

They should put a refrigerator in the room and toiletries (at least a decent shampoo and conditioner and a shower cap). You cannot use the same product for hands, body and hair!!

I've stayed at the IHG brand at different locations. There were just a few things at this particular branch that needed adjustments and did not represent the brand very well. I have highlighted it to the manager, i like the fact that he is proactive and willing to satisfy the guests. Overall, it was a nice stay. I'll still choose it again. And the cleanliness was top notch. The hotel smells so lovely and good
