Hotel ML is located in the heart of the historic center of Haarlem and an easy walk from the Central Train Station. Our room was spacious and clean with modern conveniences! The historic decor and architecture added to its charm! The breakfasts were delicious with fresh local food and a wide assortment of coffees you may desire. The staff were so kind and accommodating in all aspects of our stay. What topped off our excellent stay was dinner at their Michelin rated restaurant ! It was over the top delicious and vision of Beauty for the eye !! I highly recommend Hotel ML

Nice characterful place, with staff generally nice and caring. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. Location is spot on in the heart of Haarlem. Bed was comfortable but see below. Shower worked a treat and the bath tub was wonderful. It was the first time in years I decided to take a bath in a hotel! Illy coffee great but a bit plastic heavy. I did not take breakfast due to time restrictions. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Haarlem.

The night porter decided to play some music loudly at about 6 in the morning, which woke me up and was not conducive to my mood that day. The room would be way better with better flooring. The laminate looks a bit cheap. Curtains instead of Roman blinds would be nicer and darker. There was enough room for a comfy chair, but had to make do with three dining chairs. The mattress topper is 10 cm short.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Haarlem. Our room had a nice view of the church and part of the square. We had booked the Deluxe room; the room was clean, well equipped and the bed was comfortable.

There wasn't always staff around at the reception to help us out checking in or out; people looked rather busy, but friendly nonetheless. The marble floors downstairs had a lot of cracks; you could say it adds to the overall atmosphere but it looked a bit rundown to me. Also, our wooden floor in the apartment had a lot of big black scratch marks that did not look nice. For the price we paid, I expect things to be rather flawless.

The breakfast provided a comprehensive selection, but I was somewhat bemused by the array of dishes that arrived at my table, which effectively limited space on the table. My suggestion is that the food would have been better presented buffet style where guests could then help themselves to whatever items they required.

The large Roman blinds in my room which were only partially effective at blocking out the daylight.

Hotel ML has a lovely charming fell. It is comfortable. It is not fancy over overdecorated but cozy with a great bathroom. Breakfast was amazing. We had dinner one night and it was delicious.

Could have used a little more furniture in the room. I had a lovely suite with a couch but there was not a coffee table or ottoman. Also there is not a place to hang out other than your room or a dining room.

We loved this small historic hotel, which combined preserved architectural details with modern furnishings. The location, next to the commanding Grote Kirk and inside the historic district, was perfect for strolling along the narrow streets and canals. Most cars are not permitted in this central area, but cabs are allowed to pick up and deliver guests so managing luggage was a breeze. The rooms, with delightful views, have been cleverly modernized, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and well presented in the Bistro. The ML Restaurant was exquisite. The staff was welcoming, efficient, and accommodating. They made every part of our trip easy and pleasant.

We ate outside the hotel - breakfast too expensive. Beautiful, historic building. Room was plain, but clean and quiet.

Hotel located on a walking street, we had a 5 minute walk from where the taxi dropped us to the poorly marked hotel entrance (I entered the hotel restaurant, asked for help, and a waiter took me to the hotel lobby). Going on a cruise, we had luggage to drag with us. Price you pay for staying in the historic district of Haarlem. I would do it again

Great location right in the center of downtown Haarlem. Right across the street from a beautiful church. Can walk to restaurants and bars within seconds. Parking is in a paid (33 euros a day roughly) underground garage that is very close to the hotel. Breakfast is worth the money because you get a pre-set selection of various hot and cold items. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The beds were pretty firm and not super comfortable. The air con is a portable unit that only works when the hose is out the window, meaning if you want air con you have to hear all the loud street noise. Even with the window closed, the street noise is audible way into the night. The church side is a little quieter than rooms on the other side that face the bars. We had to change our original room due to the noise. The shower is rather small.

Central location across from The Grotte Kerk; comfortable bed. Very quiet despite cafes in the square below us. Huge excellent breakfast for 21 euros.

The thermostat was not intuitive; it would have been helpful to have written instructions or a photo. We had to go down to the desk to ask again since we missed the part about the power button on the top of the wall mounted control.

A warm welcome and helpful interactions with all staff. The hotel has a cosy ambiance, in a tastefully decorated historic building. The breakfast too were to individual preferences and served in a delightful room overlooking the surrounding old part of Haarlem. If we travel back to Holland from Australia , we would love to stay again. A big thank you to everyone
