The room exceeded expectations. The Comfort Hotel is located in a separate building from the more upscale manor hotel, where the reception and breakfast are located. We visited Kuldīga this time to explore Talsi and the nearby fishing lakes. If you’re heading to Kuldīga, keep in mind that this place is a bit far from the city center if you plan to walk, but if you have a car, it’s perfect. Convenient parking, a quiet area on the outskirts of the city with a park and stadium nearby. A supermarket is just a 15-minute drive away. The room was very warm. Excellent breakfast.

The room was cosy and big enough,. The room and the hotel in general were clean. The facilities were quite good on the whole. The location was as expected - a couple of minutes of drive from the city center.

The bathroom needs a shelf, and s fridge would be great. The TV channel selection is pretty weird, too.

hotel staff was great and very welcoming, breakfast is definitely worth the price and provides great selection even for picky ones. not too far from the city center, walkable or accessible by car or bicycle.

during hot days, you feel lack of aircon. the fan unfortunately was not enough even with an open window. there was some mold in the shower.

Staff was wery friendly and answered all the questions. Breakfast was pretty good, there were pancakes, oat meal, coffee (only Americano), vegetables, omlet, bacon etc. Similar to other hotel breakfast. Breakfast room was located in Virkas Muiža (other building), it was old fashioned (very nice breakfast room). Outside hotel was tables where guests can relax.

Pillow was not comfortable. Due to hotel is located outside town center, there is lack of good restaurant (especially for Virkas Muiža guests), becauce place itself is fancy. Good chef could make place more welcoming.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, TV had lots of channels and internet available, breakfast were very nice in the historic building. I believe it’s the best hotel in Kuldiga.

Not a big choice of pillows and there were no additional blanket in the room, but we were provided one as soon as I asked.

Beautiful hotel, quiet and you could hear the birds in the morning as it’s surrounded by woods… nice rooms, nice service, great price. Recommend to drive to town, walk might be a bit far… but possible. Kuldiga, we loved you

we stayed for one night, with family. Everything was great. Family room suited us well (2 adults, 2 small children and a little dog). Breakfast was very nice. Staff super helpful. would stay here again.

Great service. One of the few places in Kuldīga with 24/7 reception (I noticed many other places only offer check-in until 20:00). The room exceeded our expectations: well equipped, ample seating area, tea and coffee available, good bathroom. Loved the view over the empty field!

Location is amazing, close to city, 15min walk, and same time close to nature and river Venta. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

There were lot of mosquitoes, fly’s and spiders, would preferred if there would be window mesh as it was quite a hot inside during the stay

The rooms were new and comfortable and the staff were friendly. The breakfast that is served in the nearby Virkas Muiža hotel was really nice and served beautifully.

There is no fridge and no wardrobe in the room. The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the town centre, which is not a problem if you don’t mind walking, but might be a problem for older people or people with disabilities.
