This is my second time staying in Deview Hotel. The room that I booked and stayed was a Family Suite Room, very spacious, comfortable, clean and quite room. The room facing the hill with beautiful scenery. The thing I like the most is the air conditioners. It give a very cooling and comfortable environment in the rooms (consists of two rooms). Another thing I love is this hotel is in the centre of Ayer Itam , very convenient . And I did get a good discount as well for this stay. Thankyou very much Deview Hotel.

1. Limited parking area. 2. No slippers provided in the room. 3. The shower bracket is broken and has not been repaired. 4. There are 3 out of 4 towels are a bit smelly.

Reception staff were very nice and efficient, prompt check in at 3pm with luggage keeping (though the backroom for holding luggages is small). Room very clean. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Amenities were sufficient, even had a microwave which was nice to have though we didn't get to use it. Location is excellent, near hawker centre and Kek Lok Si temple which is the main place of attraction.

If there's one thing not so good, it's the frosted glass of the bathroom. It's almost completely see through, there's little privacy, and I booked a family room so it was awkward.

The hotel is still new, and the staff is friendly. It’s very convenient for visiting Kek Lok Si. The breakfast selection is somewhat limited but still acceptable. Overall, we are quite satisfied.

The bathroom needs improvement. The glass door cannot be locked, which is an issue when staying with family. It would be better if the door could be locked and the glass had an additional tinted layer to make it less obvious when someone is bathing, as the shadow of the body is quite visible. Also, the water drains slowly, causing minor flooding while we bathe, though it eventually drains out. Early morning will be heard the transport sound to wake us up.

This hotel is right at the foot of the famous Kek Lok Si Temple, and just next to Air Itam market where lots of nice local food and eateries abound. The room is clean with the standard amenities like fridge, tissues, 2 dustbins, disposable tooth brush, toothpaste, water boiler, coffee, tea, cups, hair dryer, working TV, WIFI, safe deposit box, hand soap and toiletries. The scenery out of the full length glass window was spectacular.

The location is bustling with lots of cheap and nice local eateries in the morning, but once dusk sets in, most of the shops are closed and you will need to book a taxi or Grab car out for other night spots or eateries. The clips on the clothes hangers are broken.

loved the location, most hotels or airbnb's are further away from this part of Penang island. Had a nice view of Kek Lok Si & good eateries nearby. Free parking & helpful staff. The beds were quite comfortable for me & my family, and we had a good rest there (:

There was no reserve parking available for hotel guests. As it was close to the lunar new year when I stayed, there were sometimes not enough parking spots available. Staff were helpful trying to find spots for us!

Strategic location. Lots of parking space which is free for in-house guests, I just need to endorse my TnG card at the reception counter when going out. Comfortable bed and a sofa bed. A small fridge in the room. Basic toiletries provided. There are 2 air-conds in the Deluxe Family Suite, both working well.

The frosted glass bathroom wall lacks privacy. The toilet sliding door has no lock the bathroom/toilet door so watch out when you are taking a shower or doing your business if you have a cheeky playful toddler who decide to slide open the door 🫣🫣🫣 The TV is not working.

Room is spacious, clean and convenient. Have enough amenities, there's kettle, fridge, coffee and tea. Ironing for those who need it is at the end of the hallway near the lift. Nice view of the hills and those who like to view the Kek Lok Si temple can have a good view of it from the hotel too. There's 7 Eleven nearby so it is convenient to get the necessary items from.

It is the inconvenience to find vegetarian food or halal food even in the hotel itself except the vending machine or have to go to the market or to the hospital cafetaria which is vegetarian.

The place is definitely comfortable and clean. The parking was great. Overall, an excellent place to rest after a day's being a tourist in Penang.

Nothing that I can say except the corners of the bathroom needs to be scrubbed a little bit harder for the stains to be washed off. Another one is that the ID for the bathroom is nice but a little bit insecure as the door design doesn't have a latch although it is shut closely. If you have a naughty partner or friends staying together in the room, it is going to be an adventure 🤣

The location was strategic and easily accessible. The room was clean and housekeeping came to clean the room. Basic amenities were given.

No microwave in the room to heat up food. Parking was okay, but could have a hard time to find one if there’s too much guests coming in.
