Love that it has a free gym. The equipment is tired but I still managed to get a workout in, no problem! The single room is spacious and well-equipped, complete with a safe and everything. The desk is too crowded, though. It could do with a declutter to get rid of some of the chunky decoration that takes up way too much space. But I appreciate the thought. The staff were courteous, but away from the reception a lot?
The location is not THE best. But it’s still close to most attractions in the city, if you’re willing to walk like I am. Or just get a Grab car if you don’t drive and don’t want to walk.

Comfy room that totally lives up to M Boutique's reputation. One big bottle and two small bottles of water provided daily. Having a swivel for the TV makes it very useful, and the sideboard was both aesthetic and functional (had hooks for organizing stuff). The hairdryer was a nice surprise. Appreciate having a glass door for the fridge, so it makes it easier to remember what we left inside. The gym had plenty of mirrors, natural and soft lighting. Self-service laundry has free liquid detergent and softener. There's a delightful cafe round the corner with very good service and lovely local food.
The sliding doors for the bathroom/WC are a little stiff and hard to move, and the room despite having windows didn't quite have a view, although there was much more privacy. Lack of amenities nearby, as at night there's only a pub across the street, but no convenience store within walking distance. Perhaps having some vending machines at the lobby or at the common areas might be good for after hours.

The room was uniquely decorated with a lovely rustic feel. The air conditioning worked well and the room and bathroom were spotless. Very helpful and attentive hotel staff. It was a brisk 15 min walk from town with a short cut over a bridge crossing through a very quiet park. We saw a herd of cows grazing once. There were some very affordable lunch places around the hotel area.
Would advise to take a grab to get to and from town especially at night. Did not see many people walking on the road. Though this may have been because we did not visit during peak season. Limited dinner options within walking distance of the hotel - best to eat in town or at the hotel.

Everything was superb clean, love the interior design of the room. Checking-in and checking-out were super easy. The bed was thick and fluffy. They also gave me two pillows and one cushion, thanks for the comfort. They provided free drinking water(1 big, 1 small), mini fridge, heater and basic drinking set. They also had a hair-dryer in the toilet.
No door for the toilet, so it's really bothering me as we the Muslims believe that the toilet is a dirty place, not dirty in terms of cleanliness but it's a place of the demons/devils, so it should be closed shut. But I was informed that it's only for the standard rooms, so the other rooms have the toilet door. The hallway also looks creepy at night, maybe due to the dim light. Maybe if I were with other people, I wouldn't feel that way haha

location
1) I asked for an extra key (this is a twin sharing room). Instead of being given one I was told that there was already a key card in the room for the electricity. However upon entering that room , realised that key card cannot be removed. Just wished that they had given me the extra key that I had asked for given this is a twin sharing room instead of just being told 'there's another key in the room'. 2) Upon arriving we were told the premier room that we booked faces the bar across and is noisy till midnight. Wished this was explained upfront on the website, because when I asked if we could change rooms they said then we have to downgrade to a smaller room facing the back but cannot get a refund of the difference. So that is obviously that not a choice.

It's a nice hotel, modern. Price was good and the room was a good size. The gym and laundry facilities were also great.
The location wasn't the most walkable to any sites, not many food options nearby too except for the eateries within the building. If you don't have a car, you would probably end up taking a ehail everywhere, even to the nearby main streets. The room wasn't the cleanest. There was a small stain on the bedsheet and the bathroom glass was cloudy with soap stains. There were also random dust and loose strands of hair around and the towels felt very well used. Service was not particularly warm. But it worked.

It puts you out of you comfort zone, a little> We had the room type of what they call `open bathroom concept` which is really a doorless bathroom. So if you are a couple not comfortable with that, maybe book the normal rooms. It was ok for us. It was clean-ish (it could be better) and for a 5 star review the place should get a re-do on deep cleaning and also a new paint job so that is smells fresher. It is a very humid country so without investing into that, it shows. Without the AC on you will smell the dampiness. Other than that it is pretty cool of a place to stay - good area, walkable, nice concept of the hotel, full amenities & more, helpful staff - we booked a drive with them to the Highlands (great driver - hey Eric!) - and they even kept our huge backpaks before and after our stay so we had an easier time of visiting this lovely town.
it could use a new paint and a deepclean in the bathroom tiles and a change of shower heads the washing machines take a long time to wash and dry (hey, but its free, just take enough time - 2.30 hrs)

1) loves the vibe of the room, was clean and comfy 2) the room was spacious, and well-equipped.
1) There is a bar just opposite the hotel, tends to be very loud sometimes. 2) The restaurant (Best Fusion) service was very poor, only serviced by one staff for the entire restaurant, and worst of all, its very hot (the staff doesn't even know how to operate the air-conditioner)

The room was spacious, plenty of hot water, the Japanese restaurant downstairs was great, and the breakfast restaurant was good too. We ppreciated the water each day during our stay. The location was good for us as we are happy to work into the city, 15 mins maximum. Easy to get a grab when needed.
Only a slight issue but the fridge in our room wasn’t working fully all the time.

The room is nice, it has an open space type design, the bathroom was nice.
Some overhead light would do the room justice, too warm and dark The bathroom’s showerhead doesn’t work, so resorted to only using the waterfall shower. The soundproofing is bad, akin to being next to someone with mere hardboard walls, woken up by loud trolley wheels.
