This place is indeed a special one in Langkawi. Mr Chen is an interesting Person and aware to details. The chalets are very nice, and the Atmosphäre is great. The Swimmingpool is the most clean we saw in our 6 weeks in Asia, there are fruit trees around the area, and the breakfast is a real highlight! Yes, you do need a motorbike (can be rented on the spot) and from Api-Api you are strategically located to discover the island. Here you are a bit far from the touristic and busy area and nearer to a more romantic experience. The prayer in the morning from the nearby mosque was for us not disturbing, rather beautiful and important to culturally locate us.

Everything It is beautiful resort at the center of jungle gives you the tropical vibes to the best. The host is a wonderful person, very educated, kind and well versed. He guides you about everything and beyond kind like a fatherly figure Breakfast is always fresh and on your choice, yummiest food ever Hands down the cleanest pool ever I would recommend everyone to stay here I will surely come back

Off the beaten track, but still close enough I enjoyed my brief stay at Api Api Eco resort. Lovely peaceful setting (apart from the occasional call to prayer from the neighbouring mosque) I had a view of the pond at the front and mangrove at the back. Saw plenty of hornbills and a few otters as well. My accommodation was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful, even giving me a lift to the best local beach. French toast I had for breakfast was delicious. A delightful haven, close but away from the main area.

My only small gripe would be the use of single use plastic water bottles, plastic toothbrush/comb and tea and coffee provided in the room. I thought as an Eco resort maybe bamboo/wooden alternatives and a larger water bottle filled there would have been more in keeping. Perhaps the tea and coffee could be a couple of days worth in jars, then refilled by the resort instead of the single use offerings. I would be happy to pay a bit more to accommodate this, but otherwise I would still recommend Api Api Eco resort to anyone.

Very well maintained property. At first it seemed a bit old and unkempt but after the first night I realised that's the way it was...rustic and Very natural in the forest lodge type of way. Rooms were large and very clean. All amenities in the room. Did not need to ask for anything including a Hair dryer and Ironing board, Umbrella, Drying rack, Fridge, Rubber Slippers...I mean literally everything. The place is surrounded by Forest and views are green only. Some insects and ants of course but the windows are all well covered with metal nets...so pretty good once you're indoors. Breakfast was pre order with 5-6 options. Wholesome and very tasty. Staff very friendly and ever willing to help. We rented two scooters for a day from them. They guide you well. Gate is locked at night after u enter and the owner's house is on site. He's very friendly and supervises everything himself. Overall a friendly and comfortable stay. We loved everything. No restaurant for meals..but everything is close by. Just ensure u have transport. Grab taxi also available. All tourist spots are close enough to ride or drive and Langkawi is just beautiful. We didn't use the pool.

Nothing at all. Just perfect. Would love to stay here again. Highly recommended if you like Rustic Forest Lodges and still want modern amenities in your room.

- the cleanliness of the room, the details of a few facilities or briefing could be provided more professionally and timely, such as in written form, not after asking. - location is a bit secluded - size of the bathroom and basin was way too small - due to the temporary kind of structure of the room, much noise of the rain disturbs your sleep in night

Api api is like coming home in paradise. The friendly owner Mr Sam build this place with a lot of love. He roams around daily to give his attention to it. It is small and personal. The staff is great, the bf is made with love. And there’s the friendly cat to top it off. The rooms are very comfy, so is the location. In between all attractions which are easily reached with grab or a scooter if you wish. We stayed here with our family of 6 and kids between 23 to 4 years old. We all loved it.

A unique location where you feel immersed in nature. Walking to and from the room was truly magical - especially when walking above the mangrove and fairy lights. Also the staff were so kind, warm and helpful. The shower was nice and perfect temperature. The mosque is so nearby, whereby each call to prayer is heard clearly and loudly… it was a delight to hear the Eid prayers. Thankfully we hired a car as the chalet is located about a 5-10mins away from the beach and cable cars. Lots of choice for breakfast too!

The location is pleasant n merged with nature with the flavor and gentleness of the owner. A small pond with some marine life surrounded by rain forestry & tree houses. A swimming pool with a relaxing deck is what you must be looking for a great vacation. A leisure walk of 200-300 meters around the property is also scenic & colorful. Being pure vegetarian it's always a little difficult to get the desired food at sea shores but here we were provided with pure vegan sumptuous & tasty breakfast. All in all it's a perfect stay for the vacation. Not far from the main city area. Nearby scooters on hire are available at a cheaper rate. Scooters are the cheapest mode of transport here or else walking a few km is also enjoyable as roads are nice here.

it's a cute little nature property.. chalets are cozy & eco friendly. Sam the owner really looks after it, interacting with him was really good. Pool is nice with a view. Can see hornbills, squirrels, crabs, few other birds from the room & while roaming around. Bed is comfortable.

bathroom size is small but clean. Go only if you are ok staying in nature & don't expect luxury. few Mosquitos & insects ll be definitely around as a part of nature. Mosque is nearby so can hear evening & morning prayers.
