The staff were super friendly and helpful, accommodating to my needs. The room was comfortable, clean, and the shower had good pressure. All around good stay!

The Tourist Tax, but that's not the hotel's fault.

It was just awesome and so family-like i never experienced it before while traveling. The Host Tony and his Wife June provide several Tours and also Snorkeling and Diving and both speak very good english and chinese. His Wife is local and speaks perfect Malay too. So she knows a lot of people around Borneo and is always finding solutions for your travel in any price range you wish. The rooms have western standard and are very clean, with Aircon sometimes even a projector, provide shampoo, towels and that for an awesome price. The staff is also very friendly and helps you out with your everyday needs. The diving equipment you can borrow here was in very good condition. Tony is an experienced diveinstructer, who knows where to go and when. We did some dives with several companies wich they booked for us. So we could dive last minute in Sipadan, Mabul, Pom Pom and other Islands in just 3 days. From the guesthous it s just 2 minutes to the Jetty where all the Divingboats departure. Even doing the Advanced Open water Course was possible last minute After diving you can relax and take a Spa Treatment, soak your feet or get a massage right next door in June's Spa.... and again for an awesome price. The Beautysalon is very nice and comfortable. From the balcony on the frontside of the building you can even see the sea and one of the bigger islands where you can also take a hike on the mountain there with breathtaking view!

That we ich had to leave and continue traveling, it was hard to leave such a nice and heartfull family.

Budget accommodation near jetty ideal for island hopping trips. Free parking or if you don't have a car, walking distance to shops/restaurants. Very friendly host with useful and reliable recommendations. Size of room and bathroom is on the small side for the family room but the room is clean and well maintained. Air conditioned and comfortable. Plenty of sockets for charging and hangers for clothes. Can ask for a towel change when needed. Overall, very good value for money.

Water pressure is low so it takes a while to shower. Children who would follow you and are quite persistent in asking for money.

Clean rooms and lobby. Staff are friendly. You can use their diving service and it’s cheaper than the diving centers in town but maintains the quality of boat and equipment. The boss, Tony, is English and he focuses on you enjoying the place. My wife is Chinese and we did our diving license with a bilingual instructor. This area is a little bit nicer than other areas of the city, they recommend great places to eat, plus is a short walk to the jetty and the intercity buses.

Rooms are a little small but Semporna is a diving place so you won’t likely be in your room all day.

The bathtoom is pretty small

It has an open balcony, with table and chairs outside. You can even enjoy a morning sun rise, if lucky enough to catch the early morning sun! The freedom you feel is great, and with clean towels, bedsheets. Able to hang washed clothes outside the room with hangers in the balcony but the wind could be strong. Excellent balcony!

Have to get hot water outside in the service counter sitting room, as no drinking water is provided inside the room.

Was lucky with my room, which was surprisingly big and quiet. Good aircon, hot water, everything works, comfy bed. Great staff and very hospitable owner couple.

Semporna is small so you get everywhere quickly by Grab, but using Grab is also necessary as its location is kinda in the middle but not near to anywhere you’d wanna be. Some good food options directly around, though,

Superb location,a few minutes from the 1st jetty,a few minutes form the bus terminal. The staff is incredible,not just the owner. They helped us with everything we asked for. Roomms are really tiny,but there is a big reception room,where you can also use kitchen,there are always coffee,tea and noodles available.

I like the bed and room is clean, very comfortable although is small twin bed room, but simple, I like. The staff is very helpful. Thank you so much. There are 2 jetty in Sempurna, one is very near to the property and the other one a bit far but property will arrange transport for us , if take Gran car also not expensive. Will come again.

Consider everything is good for the price.

Clean room equipped with all amenities: hairdryer, AC, movie projector. Strategic location close to the excursions jetty and 10 minutes walking to popular (seafood) restaurants. Very helpful staff, always available for arranging additional activities and transports. Security cameras and common terrace with amazing islands view.

Room a bit small, but very comfortable and with huge window on the the common terrace.
