Very close to the pier and most dive/snorkel shops. Great for a night before/after an island hopping trip. Private cubbies for each bed with a universal plug and individual lights in each cubby. Immaculately clean bathroom/sink area, no peeling paint or cracks in the walls.

Shower pressure was abysmal, but the place was immaculately clean and made with relatively new materials. Top many beds in one space, I counted at least 24 and only separated by a closing door. A lot of people are just coming for a night and therefore wake up very early and were not respectful of the noise and conversation level at 6am.

The capsule bunks were really spacious and private

Breakfast can be improved( likewise by yourself)but it is a tiny detail a fridge would be a plus,but can become a mess rapidly.By the way it is close from all food service,a grocery is beneath..so it is well enough like that

The owners were lovely and the lady on the desk when we arrived let us check in early (even though we said we were happy to just drop bags off). The beds were really comfortable, just needed to ask for a towel and blanket- they'd forgot to give them to us when we checked in, but easily rectified! The breakfast was nice; food from the bakery, bread for toasting, and some fresh fruit as well as tea. Free drinking water available was brilliant! The aircon and fans were good and the showers were decent too. Good value for money considering how cheap it is.

Maybe some polite notices reminding people to stay quiet in the dorms between the hours of 10pm-8am, or something like that. Another guest was listening to music and talking on his phone until about 12 and then as soon as he woke up about 6am. One of the owners did talk to him, which we appreciated, but he carried on after they'd left. Some hand soap available at the taps would be great!

-Would have felt more secure if there were cameras inside hostel, or if the lockers had keys.

Nice dorm cube, with curtain for privacy Near jetty port, so you can check different agencies for trips and many restaurants I was surprised at how fast the WIFI was, good to work with

It's basically a big room for everyone, where general dorms, girls dorms and bathrooms are are hardly separated (although each toilet has a door of course) so using the washroom was not so covenant, also people staying there and using the washroom sink for dishes, would be better to put even a curtain between sections Also Semporna is not the nicest city, polluted and messy, but that can't be avoided

Great waterfront location, and close to almost all basic facilities (eg 24hrs convenient store with ATM is just downstairs)

Hard to find fault with this property, at that price

beds were so comfy and huge. very spacious room and free coffee / toast in the morning. nice balcony and a great location right by the water front and all the dive centres. great for the price.

main two issues were there was no key on any of the doors so anyone could walk into the hostel and the toilets weren’t great (no flush but this could be temporary/in the process of being fixed).

I felt super welcome in this hostel. The beds are very comfortable and you have your own cabine with light and electricity point. Unfortunately I had a big migraine and they where really lovely to help me to walk with me to my bus and let me stay after check out time. Thanks again for your warm hearted service.

Very nice staff, well maintained facility. I don't normally like dorms because they're stuffy and you don't have privacy. But these are almost like capsules, so I could go out or withdraw whenever I wanted.
