A Hidden Gem in Semporna!" The Firefly Resort is a paradise above the sea! The breathtaking restaurant set up with high roof and wood designed tables, chairs and bars, and impeccable service make it an unforgettable experience. I loved the eco-friendly approach and the dedication to preserving the local forest life as I could see squirrels jumping outside my room during my walk to and back my room.. and could a some fireflies at the darkest areas of the pathway. New Year's Eve (NYE) night part was exciting and fun with a live band where you can ask for your favourite songs, a spectacular light show , decorations for NYE . Food was incredible with free flow tiger prawns, roast lamb, grill beef, clams ,crabs , butter chicken, and more .. drinks were free flow beer and Sarawak beer whee I can't get anywhere in Semporna. Fireworks were so long for 1hour in total of 6 sets of fireworks. Tons of people. Bedrooms were clean and the mattress was of highest quality that I can sleep immediately like in Hilton . Staff were so helpful, people there were so friendly. Can't wait to come back!

The A/C doesn't work well and the rooms are super humid. Our clothes didn't dry after more than 24h.

Everything! I travel a lot and I Can tell that this the best experience l've never had. The place IS Amazing and the host is one of the best people I've never met. They really care about customers and make you feel like you're home. The room is Big and very clean. The breakfast is really good. Thank you so much for making my stay in Semporna so nice.

The Firefly Resort is a very interesting and nice little resort. The people are very friendly and they try hard to make your stay enjoyable. My room was basic, but was quite large, very clean, and had everything I needed. The value for the dollar is great. Like others said, the grounds are super interesting and filled with orchids. The breakfast was very nice for the few people who were there when I stayed.

They don't accept credit card (for the moment). The bed, toilet and sink are clean but not the room in general, the chairs outside were really dirty. it is 15 min from the jetty, not so easy to find a grab

The room and bathroom were spacious, bed comfy and the staff very friendly! Great coffee! Away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. Lovely surroundings - big property and lovely orchids!

The hotel seemed generally very empty, and the rooms are sparsely decorated - for example, no chair in the bedroom, big tables used as bedside tables. Could have been cleaner - seemed to need a good sweep. While the grounds are well maintained, leaves were being burned creating a very smokey and unpleasant atmosphere. Not great - but apparently was to minimize the mosquitoes. Also had a lovely exotic bird in a very very tiny cage - not good at all.

Very dirty. Toilet floor water clogged and housekeeping staff didn’t mop dried it. Plenty of stains on walls and sofa. Toilet sinks full of stains. Walkway not maintained. Full of leaves and rotten fruits. Very slippery make walking at night dangerous. Worst is two big mangoes tress with mangoes falling onto the roof making scary noises especially in the night. We thought someone is breaking in.

the room are clean but reception staff are rude ,the place had no service whatsoever i cant do calls text messages,researches everything and please mind there’s hidden fee for this place .i need to pay extra cash to check out 😅
