Location is good, close to jetty so it’s ideal for daily tours to nearby islands. Room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. A little kitchen area was also at our disposal in the common room at the entrance. Whole Ohhsem staff (hotel & tours) is super kind and friendly, ready to help with anything at any time. They arranged airport pickup for us and despite our late arrival at night we easily checked-in ‘cause a member of the staff was waiting there and helped in carrying all our baggage up the stairs. Every day typical Malaysian breakfast was served and island-hopping tours were well organized! The team definitely made our stay a very pleasant one, we really enjoyed :)

The aesthetic looks of the room, very comfortable, clean and pleasing. The staff also quick response and friendly. The view is ok, but it's better than not having any view at all.

I think the room is not soundproof, not quiet because I can hear people outside, and even when I'm outside, I can hear sound in the room. The breakfast included also not appetizing, It's ok but I just think I could get better and proper breakfast meal than that.

the room ! it is very spacious & i thought it just an ordinary hotel room but it is beyond my expectations ☺️ . I chose a family room. the staff also very nice & helpful . I didnt bring any cash for security deposit when check in but the staff nicely tell me its okay & just bring it whenever i had the cash . service also is very good , since the front door required a pin to enter , i called their staff using the number provided at the front & their response was quick .

no main lobby . it feels more like homestay rather than hotel to me . the security at the front door makes you feel a bit confuse at first since it required a pin to entered the hotel & it can easily be hacked by random people out there who are smart enough peeking through while we enter the pin . also its a bit noisy at night cause by the location is just right at the centre of city . i dont really like the toilet not because the design , but because of the unpleasant smells inside. not really comfortable when shower cuz the smells kinda strong to my nose .

Is very clean, bed is comfortable, hot shower available and pressure is strong. Has an area to dry clothes at highest floor of shop lot. Convenient Bataras supermarket right adjacent opposite to shop. Morning coffee tea DIY and water boiler and water filter available for use.

Have to walk up 2 floors of staircase.

Hotels located in shoplot area, need to use staircase to access to room. Other than that, our stay was very comfortable. Recommended.

Going to the room.. Hotel located at 2nd floor.. No lift provided.. Must pick up big luggage using stairs..

Very big room fitted perfectly for 2 adults and 2 kids. Malaysian toilet but big clean and drained quite ok so didn't stay wet the whole day.

3 floor of a very ugly building in the outside without elevator not good for carrying heavy luggage upstairs

The room was clean and the position very convenient, closed to a big supermarket and to the harbour for Mabul departure.

The staff doesn’t understand English very well. There is a code to the entrance door that they didn’t provide us before so we had to call at night to check in late.

the breakfast - a local takeaway breakfast left on the table so cold when we collected it . The homeless woman on the steps appreciated it though ! would have been much better to have had just a bowl of fruit

Cleanliness 7/10, bathroom musky and not that clean. Room deco appears dated and dusty.
