Overall it was a wonderful experience for short escape in the busy world. If you are looking for something nature, this would be the place to go to. There is a waterfall 3minutes away and hiking activity.

1. Limited food access, not many restaurants and you need to book your food in advance. 2. We stayed in tembusu, it is an open concept house, without windows. Different experience but definitely having some difficulties in sleeping 3. Since there is no entertainment including TV, u should bring your own board games or do something, else u will be stuck with your smart gadgets. 4.Internet connection can be slow at time. 5. The road up is very steep and u will need some skill

The lower pool was very nice. Perling House location within The Dusun is perfect. It was secluded and quiet (except when the cleaner is sweeping in the early mornings!). The pool filter was making humming sounds when we arrived but I think the staff solved the issue. It was quiet the next day. Love the architectural concept of the house and the entire property. Its definitely a place you go to read a book from start to end!

Fridge is way too small unfortunately. Perhaps they want you to patronise the restaurant which is quite expensive naturally. No mosquito net over the bed which is not good as my husband got bitten quite badly while sleeping.

The serenity of the forest allows me totally relax and release of stress. Love the view from the room.

cleanliness need to improve (bathroom). need mirror outside bathroom. & maybe u can put some fragrant in house for better feeling.

Love the villa/chalet that is open concept & overlooking the mountains/jungle view. The wooden balcony very nice for morning yoga exercises. 2 pools at the area . The management prepared the mosquitoes incense coil so we can use it at night. Very close to nature & lots of fruit trees around

Wished we can get wifi from our rooms but it is not a major problem as we can get the wifi from the cafe/restaurant area.

Super nice location with a view of the jungle. Very nice staff who helped to arrange transfer to the airport. The property also allowed us to stay the whole day after checkout in the common and pool area, As our flight was late in the evening. The bungalows are very beautifully located in the jungle with great views over the countryside. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is free drinking water available. We would stay again.

I love the entire stay. The facilities, view, cleanliness, and the staff everything are best. I booked this stay for my husband’s birthday and he really loved the entire stay. I would say this place is the best place for couples. I booked the berembun house.

I just can’t stand with the amount of lizards roaming inside the room. I dont feel comfortable with the insects. The lizards are very disturbing but the staff help us to get rid of the lizards by spraying them.

My husband and I had a great time relaxing at the Berembun house. The house was so nicely cleaned up upon our arrival and well decorated with fresh flowers. The hospitality was amazing. All the staff there were always smiling and greeting the guests. I was so grateful as they fulfilled my request of decorating my bed with swan towels for our anniversary celebration. I'd recommend you to order the meals from their caterer as it was so delicious and presentable.

Great view. One must definitely have sunrise and sunset yoga on the deck! Loved the pool. Love that my expectations for a quiet and calm retreat was met. The local food (Gulai) and breakfast were great. Friendly staff. Absolutely love the salt -water pool! Very happy it is dog-friendly, will definitely return (next quiet season ;))

I was unable to complete most of the walks available as the trails were blocked by fallen trees/ landslide. But we totally understand the limitations caused by the natural disasters. Kitchen could definitely improve on the pasta menu- use real meat rather than sausages, and the bolognese sauce was spicy…
