Dhangethi is a very nice island, with friendly locals, evolving tourism, and really nice accomodations. Atoll Residence Dhangethi stole our hearts. First when we saw the pictures and read the details of the profile. Second, when we got there and saw with our own eyes how lovely the place is, and how welcoming is everyone. We spent 2 weeks in a superb room. The food was simply fantastic. Assad and his team did everything they could to ensure our stay is perfect from every angle. Traditional Maldivian breakfast (Mas huni) was so delicious, would be nice add as a regular breakfast option. We cannot wait to go back! Useful: After arrival, if you have special meal request (pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan…etc), let them know, they will arrange it for you!

It would be great to have vents under the garden roof, as heat can stuck in. Useful: Take something against mosquitos. There is only Rufiiya ATM on the island with 100 MVR withdraw charge! Card payment for services can have additional local banking fee.

This cozy residence is located next to beach and offers rooms with amazing view to the sea. The room had everything we needed, including beach towels. We could also borrow snorkel equipment and fins there. Assad and the team were super friendly and helpful 🤗 thanks for the amazing time at your place!

The property itself is brand new, very modern and chic. The room featured a nice king-sized bed with a balcony as nice as their official pictures, even though my room is not a sea view room, there is still a bit of sea view and you can see sunrise directly. The location is right on the beach, breakfast is delicious and hosted on the beach. At night they turn the magical fairy lights on. Their crew is very friendly and very quick with responses. Towels and beach towels are provided. I had to make some last-minute tour arrangement and Assad has made it happen with no sweat and in record time. I know they call themselves an Inn, but in reality they deliver as if they are a Relais and Chateaux with a beaming smile!

It is not a dislike but to remember to bring the right attire muslim country and that alcohol is illegal in local island.

The hospitality is incredible and authentic. We were accommodated for everything we asked for. Assad and the staff made the experience very pleasant. We will never forget the dinners close to the sea under the stars

Nothing. Everything was good. I read here in booking.com some comments about the food: just remember that we are in a local island not in an European restaurant. PS sometime there are few mosquitoes. Bring a repellent and you'll be fine

I would not say that “we didn’t like” something, but I would love if they could provide different meals, cause we booked the all inclusive package but it was very repetitive, we ate everyday almost the same. Out of this, everything was PERFECT 👍

We stay in this lovely hotel for almost two weeks . Assad and his Team did everything that we had a unforgettable trip . With this hotel we found an home far away from home . We was feeling like on a 5 star resort island with all this nice food and amazing service we had . Since he know all the spots around the island quite well he arrange some really awesome day trips for us . The rooms are really nice and clean and everything is new . The food is really delicious and the cook did an amazing job . Next time when we come to Maldives we definitely will book again here with Assad and his team . A very well sized hotel, just as we like it, and it is run by locals and not by a corporate chain, and this was also of importance for us when we booked. The is something like an authentic local life on the island, that is something we also appreciated. For travellers who do like individuality it's the perfect choice. The architecture is simple but nice, the location is excellent, the stuff is unobtrusive, helpful and very kind.

You should know that the variety of food on the islands is limited and tends to be a bit monotonous sometimes, at least for longer stays. So a little more variety, for example in the breakfast offer would have been very nice. Since we checked also other Cafés at the island, which had a similar offer like the Hotel, I really think it has more to do with the island location than the quality of the hotel.

Oh it was really perfect stay. Great location to just relax. Guys there are truly amazing and helpful. Eager to help. While I was staying the hotel was new and alive. I certainly can recommend to stay here.

It's not about this place, but entire island feature. They all try to cook you some kind of European food. But I truly wanted to taste local cuisine. Again its not a hotel problem, but entire Maldives I believe. I looked multiple places. But don't mind that just stay here, it's great.

The fiew from the balkony to the sea qas wunderful. The room was clean and nice, except a few minor things. Assad is a very nice host, who asked every day, if everything is okay or if we needed something. The staff was really great an very helpfull. Thanks to Rubel and all the staff. We loved the breakfast und dinner at the beach!!! Dangheti is a very nice Island. We loved the Restaurants at the beach on the island!!! They feed stingrays in the evening, so it was very special. Also it was very nice for snorkeling. We saw so many fish!! Thank you!!

Hotel is almost perfect except there is no hot water (barely warm with low pressure). Staff is nice and attentive. Breakfasts and dinners were really good. It’s 1 min walk to bikini beach. Room was clean and comfortable, lots of towels including beach towels. Very good internet. We were really happy with our hotel choice.

Island itself is not the best option definitely. It’s only developing and if you aren’t a diver there isn’t much to do except laying on a beach. All the snorkelling tours will take only 6+ people and there is no people to make such groups. And the bikini beach is far from perfect. Sharp coral fragments and coarse sand, lots of seaweed and broken sunbeds, no shower. It's quite a shame, considering that the local people lives mostly off tourism. Oh, and a local beach is perfect. With soft white sand and no seaweed, nice swing in the water. But you cannot be there in a regular swimsuit. Only dressed or in a burkini. So maybe this island will be amazing in a few years but not yet.
