Food was excellent. Many pools to choose from depending on your mood, party pools chill pools family pools etc. they have the Riu party if you feel like enjoying some excellent music! Rooms are comfortable and nice, highly recommend the ocean front rooms if possible. Be sure to bring comfortable footwear, the property is very large and you will be walking a lot!

the staff at steakhouse were racist toward letting some people make reservations, also the American Country was toward letting caucians in under dressed but turning around blacks which were wearing more than the caucians. also Let in a white male with muscle shirt and my husband had to go back to the room to change his shirt and once we got in we were sitting beside a white male who had the exact shirt on. We were celebrating the 25 anniversary and 60 birthday and none of the plans were followed through in either restaurant nor the requested decor in the room ...

Not enough Entertaiment for adults.

The entertainment was amazing. The place was clean and well kept. Loved all the amenities. The parties were top notch.

The food was pretty bad. Too many buffet style restaurants with too many flies flying around the food. In many restaurants the food options were too limited and portions too small. Invest more in the food.

When we first checked in the staff member was not friendly nor accommodating, we had 3 rooms and he wanted to put us each in different villas. We were able to speak with the mgr. who then accommodated us and put us in one villa.

The atmosphere was amazing. Party's was great! The service with staff was great. Entertainment was good.

The bathroom had water marks in the ceiling, the lights wasn't working properly (the bathroom light didn't turn on after the second day & the main room light was working when it wanted to). All the bars didn't have the same thing.

This is one of the best resort we have ever been. Truly deserves 5 stars. We had a wonderful vacation. Enjoyed the fact that there are many common areas but also some only for adults and some only for kids (no alcohol allowed). Lots of attractions and fantastic shows every night (Rock concerts, traditional Mexican dances, circus...everything starts with some fun attractions for kids around 7:30pm and then it is for adults. Very nice idea with RIU parties, again - some only for kids and some only for adults! I haven't seen anything like that before.

It's a huge resort so if you want to explore the ocean, water sliders, swimming pools, restaurants and parties ... be prepared to do more than 15k steps a day. But this was actually very nice for health so not particularly a minus:)

The access to the RIU on-resort beach, food options, pool bars, activities and entertainment were excellent. The food was great, with many fresh and healthy options. We liked that the location was close to downtown for a quick $5 Uber ride when we wished to go off resort. My son had an unexpected leg injury upon arrival and the RIU staff quickly noticed and accommodated us with a first floor access change for our room. The food options were great, and we liked that the steak house Misión was reservation only for dinner. While some people complained about the extra hoop to get a reservation requiring a 30-40 minute wait upon opening at 5:30, I appreciated the plated, served meal that stepped up from the usual buffet dinner at other restaurants on the resort. Well done!
