We experience an almost empty hotel. The hotel complex is nice, with its own private beach. Napolo is a calm, peaceful touristy area. Not in Loreto but a 15 Minute drive away. Staff was welcoming and friendly. For the price, it was good. Location with private beach and outside resort character really made it. I do not understand all the bad review. For 100 USD a night, you cannot expect a perfectly polished 5-star-resort. Because of all the bad revies, I was hesitant to book this place but ended up really liking it.

Room itself smelled, when we checked in (like it has not been used for a long time). Opening the balcony door for an hour much improved the smell. Maybe think about ventilating the rooms before guests arrive. This is a small thing to do and helps so much. Also, the room could have been cleaner.

The location of the hotel on the beach and the general tourist area can't be beat. It was great to have free guarded parking. Rooms were basic but provided awesome beach views and had a tiny balcony. Also the cabanas and beach chairs were nice to have to use. Staff spoke relatively good English

The pools looked super nice but they were unheated and cold especially the children pool which was disappointing since then what's the point. The hot tub was also in need of repairs/ water level not constant and had to ask front desk to turn the heat on every time you wanted to use it and took a good 15min to get warm. You weren't allowed to walk along the golf course path or even for kids to play on a beautiful calm and secluded beach beyond the front of the property for "safety" reasons. Security quickly hushed all "trespassers" off. No microwave to use on the entire property.

This resort is all about the location! What a lovely place to stay. Loreto will be in our hearts forever! If you love to golf, you will be overjoyed. We don't golf but still found so many things to explore! We hiked the giant rock and went for a long beach walk, kayaked and paddle boarded the calm inlet waters around the golf course. Visit the San Javier Mission an hour drive away...it's well worth it.

The free breakfast was basic. We were offered free buffet breakfasts at the Hyatt in La Paz, so we were disappointed that this resort wanted to "up-sale" the food on its menu. The servers wouldn't let us substitute any items, and every day, we found it confusing and awkward to order breakfast (e.g., we wanted eggs-over-hard yet got runny eggs all 3 days we ordered; we wanted bacon [tocino] instead of hot dogs and they said we would have to pay extra...we said we would pay and they didn't still didn't bring it to us). Lots of communication issues...

The view from the room of the bay and pool were lovely. The room was clean and had good light. The maids were very sweet and thoughtful.

The young waiter at the pool and at the breakfast was horrible. It took too long to get our food and the orders were always wrong. He seemed to have a poor attitude. The soundproofing for the rooms was awful. We could hear everything in the hallway and in the next rooms.

We love the Loreto Bay Golf Course. Amazing time every time. Staff is always warm and welcoming and help you with anything you need.

This time of year the pool is a little warmer than we would like, but when it's this hot out, there is not much they can do. Easy fix is to jump in the bay 30 feet away!

The hotel has a amazing view of the beach. The pool is large and refreshing. The security guards and manager were helpful with a safety issue.

The hotel rooms need better sound cancelling materials. We could hear everything that our next door neighbors were saying and doing. We could hear the plumbing noises and anytime there was a guest in the hallway. The bathrooms need some updating. The toilet tended to be loud and would have issues. There was a slight sewer smell in the bathrooms.

We thought the facility was beautiful. Very clean and great beach and ocean views. Rooms were a good size , comfy beds and large bathrooms, nice shower. You do have to pay for taxi to leave the property. This can add up 20 to 25 US $ one way to Loreto or airport. We don't golf but course looks beautiful. Food was also good at the 2 restaurant. Tours available to book. If staying at the hotel you can have one hr free using sea kayak

Airport shuttle would be nice and indoor seating for dinner in case of bad wearher

nice room, nice view lovely gardens. the waiting staff at the restaurant were very pleasant.

pillow case was dirty. shower doesn't fully drain so I had to step in cold water the next morning At checkin I was not given any information on the hotel or why a wristband was put on me. Mine was clear and when we went to dinner other people had dark coloured ones. I do not know the reason for this.

The location is great and the rooms are big. Right on the beach and just outside Loreto.

The water does not get warm in the shower. The restaurant does not open on time for breakfast which caused us to almost miss our outing in Loreto
