Very charming, with incredibly attentive staff. Nice mattress, which surprised me for that price point. Very clean sheets that looked and smelled pristine. We had a miscommunication about which rooms had AC, but they helped correct the erroneous booking to get me what I wanted.

Hmm... Well, they put in the effort to make sure the room had light-blocking curtains, but the door was (privacy) glass and had no curtains, so the sun barged in uninvited. Aside from that, because of how folks live in that area of the city, there were dogs yapping and roosters crowing (which the hotel is not to blame for), so make sure you have ear plugs.

The hotel was nice, clean, reasonable and comfortable. The patio was lovely , great Mountain View to the city and walking distance to the mommy museum.

I love this place. It is at a hill near the city center. While it could take 20min to walk, but it only takes uber 100 peso to travel around. You can see the whole city from the house. They have a great yard that you can read, or just seat there. The rooftop is amazing. I feel I was home.

The beds were comfortable and they were very helpful with the luggage since it was on a hill.

Needed some curtains by the door for privacy and a mirror in the room or living room.

Casa Malva was a perfect place for our family to stay in Guanajuato. Lucy and Edgar welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived. There are options for tours and a delicious breakfast on-site. You can walk about 20 minutes to the historic center. The view from the rooftop is gorgeous! We would stay here again.

The neighbor has roosters that are up early, but you get used to it!

Scarcely equipped, noisy (roosters) and 30min walk to the center. MXN 630 definitely bad value for money.
