We liked the 5 minutes distance from the beach and the numerous restaurants along the beach The room was comfortable, very small, but has everything needed there, we had our windows facing the inner garden, so it was very quiet at night. Breakfast is served on the roof, basic: toasts, jam, nutella, variety of teas and coffee in the pot - for us was enough to start the day. Also, they accept dogs, so we could spend a good weekend with our labrador.

The 5 minutes' walk to the beach is via an unpaved road and rather dirty surroundings, didn't seem dangerous, just dirty. For the dog we paid extra fee per each night, which is Ok, but for that fee we would expect at least a bowl for water in the room.

The hotel is very quirky with lots of individual decor and this extends to the rooms. There is a roof terrace from which you can see the sea, which is a short walk from the hotel.

My room wasn't available at check-in time (given check-in was late at 3pm and I'd already been there for a few hours I would have hoped the room would at least be ready on time). The hotel is a long way from the centre of town and it's not the easiest journey to make without your own transport. It was challenging to get directions from the host due to the English-Spanish communication barrier (although she did want to help!)

The hotel/boutique was absolutely beautiful. I was very impressed with their space and how beautifully decorated it was. The location was not that great for me for dinner, food, etc. but the walk to the beach was easy and only a couple of blocks away. Great value!

The access to a good restaurant that didn't involve taking a cab.

I am a frequent traveler and this was one of the best experiences I had lately.The staff is very friendly.The hotel is cosy, unique and comfortable, conveniently located.It is like a small museum and I bought some nice artifacts.Very happy with my stay.

One of the cutest places we've ever stayed. So much attention to detail of aesthetics. Great location near the airport but with zero noise, just the sound of the ocean. Good restaurants nearby and a nice beach. The area feels safe and they were kind enough to let us park our motorcycles in their lobby overnight. Gabi, the receptionist, couldn't have been more gracious. We loved our stay.

A little pricey for Mexico but great location and facility, away from the chaos that is Acapulco.

Casa Jaguar is a little oasis, green, well kept, with tasteful decoration and super friendly and helpful staff. While my stay was very short, I would definitely go back there if I went to Acapulco again.

Close to the beach and restaurants. Love the authentic decor. My boyfriend proposed on the terrace so this place will always hold a special place in my heart. We enjoyed and loved our stay!
