This little hotel is perfectly located on the water with a great view. The shoreline are very rocky but I enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs for a few days as I prefer to look at the water than swim. When I got hot I jumped in the pool. It's a good value.

There was a plastic incontinence sheet on the bed. It was pretty gross and uncomfortable. They only supplied two small bottles of water at the start. And nothing else for the reminder of the 5 days I was there. It would be really great to at least provide one bottle per person per day since the tap water isn't potable. Wifi is spotty.

Sixth visit to Meson De Mita and there's been some renovations since we were last there: pool area improvements, new breakfast bar, small dining tables overlooking the beach and ocean. The room had been refreshed too. For the $s, and location, there's no better place to stay in Punta Mita. Staff are great, very helpful. Oscar's taco stand is directly across from the hotel - a new favourite (they close at 6pm though) now Teresa's Taco's up the hill appears to have closed down.

The hammocks by the pool have been removed since our previous stay. They're missed. A mini fridge in the rooms would be very useful. And more coat-hangers :)

We loved this little hotel. If you are looking for a haughty 5 star all inclusive, this is not the hotel for you. However, if like us you want a quiet, clean, comfortable stay, with amazing staff look no further. Pros: - Very clean, the staff was busy all day long. You can tell they have great pride in this hotel. - Quiet (except in the mornings when the street comes to life). - Comfortable, there are lots of options for lounging. Hammocks, lounge chairs by the pool and beach, lounging areas. - Staff were wonderful. They always greeted you when you walked by, they were very attentive to your needs and they made our stay comfortable. - Safe. We had absolutely no concerns about leaving our stuff on our lounge chairs on in the room.

Cons: - No hot water in our room, although we did not complain about it. No big deal as the water was warm enough and we were usually hot anyways.

Great location, in the middle of Punta de Mita and right on the beach. Nice pool and lounge chairs and a sandy beach with some rocks in front. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, beaches and surf board rentals.

The marina area could do of a little clean up. A proper pathway to the pick up and drop off points to go out on boat excursions would be an improvement. The local restaurants and stores tend to cater to the high end clientele that frequent the town from the exclusive resorts nearby which means prices are inflated.

Breakfast was available from 8 - 1pm, good coffee, landscaped pool area, good location on beach, close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very small and inconveniently organized bathroom with closet in the bathroom. Very small room. No bar fridge. Small number of pool loungers, but seemed to be enough for the number of guests.

Location 10/10 - beachfront hotel has a pool and restaurant attach to it, plenty of Mexican seafood restaurant nearby. Cleanness 10/10 - Hotel is very well maintained, it is looking a bit dull but clean. I was visiting this town to attend the hidden beach tour and this is a transit hotel for me, overall this hotel is meeting my expectation and worth the money. Front Desk girls are very nice, didn't speak much English but my check in was smooth. I woke up 6 am and went to the pier next to the hotel (45 seconds walking distance) and enjoyed the sunrise.

Facility 5/10 - particularly the shower. There is almost no hot water with minimum water flow. I understand this might be a common thing in Mexico, but I love a warm shower and the water in the hotel definitely not up to my warm level. You can tell that the hotel has put in lots of effort to make it comfortable.

Hotel grounds were very unique and mostly well-kept. The location on the beach was great, and close to other restaurants and stores. The pool was great for my toddler. Staff were friendly and hospitable. I loved the hammocks.

The room itself wasn't amazing. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and our washroom was small. The toilet seat didn't stay up and the sink drain cover was loose. Water pressure was low. Beach vendors were a bit too constant in the afternoon.

The location ,beach and general property was perfect! We had a kitchenette which was fantastic. The pots and pans worked but are in need of replacement, our sink leaked but it was tended too. They could use some basics like a dish drainer and an overhead shelf or cupboard. The beds where ok but hard, but clean and linens where available when ever you needed. The biggest problem really was the sewer smell, we went out and got some bleach and that helped to put a little down the drain daily. All in all would go back in a heart beat but would bring a few things along from the dollar store....

Great location, price and front desk staff. For the price, it’s a no brainer, very simple, no frills type of hotel. Small boutique feel. The best restaurant next door at Mina’s.

Can’t really complain, except for restaurant staff could have been better. Breakfast was just ok.

the public areas were calm ,clean and comfortable. the beds were comfortable everything was clean . the staff was very friendly the street its on , has everything we need for a nice week.

the only problem was hot water for showers. mostly never got ore than room temp. sometimes got cold in the middle of it. i understand it is a Mexico problem same everywhere.
