This a luxurious and stunning hotel. Easy to move through it with amazing and delicious restaurants. The room was awesome and super confortable king size bed. Spacious room with sea view balcony. I really enjoyed my stay. Gym available.

Since it is a go green hotel, the room’s A/C sometimes doesn’t was too cold as I wanted. Some of the all included beverages were not good at all. Beach was not pretty as in my country so I was not impressed with it.

I had the most amazing stay at Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres. Our family is already planning our next trip there and bringing along other members of our extended family. It is an outstanding value for money and the food is delicious(some of the best we have had at a resort). The staff is super friendly and we would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a fun relaxing vacation. Our toddler gives it high marks!the DJ had him so entertained and he was dancing the evening til his bed time each night!

The service here was top notch. This was my first all-inclusive experience and it exceeded all my expectations. Every staff member that my friends and I encountered were so friendly. The resort was clean and I loved the way the plants and nature was integrated into the buildings. We stayed in a "Privileged Family Swim Up" room. It was perfect for 3 adults. The bedroom had 2 full sized beds and there was a sofa sleeper in the living room. There is a nice walk-in closet area that has shelves and tons of space for suitcases and all of our things. The bathroom was nice in that the shower area and toilet area were seperated so there was plenty of space for 3 women to get ready when needed. The best part of the room was having the private pool right outside the room. Sometimes, the staff from the "party pool" would even come over to take our drink orders while we were outside in the swim up. Otherwise, we just took turns walking over to the bar which was close. We were at the end of our building so we had a nice view of the ocean as well. The food was as expected for an all-inclusive. Room service was pretty basic but it was nice that we could order during times when we didn't feel like leaving the room. The buffet was nice and not too big. We never had any problems with the reservation system. Our favorite restaurant was the Japanese hibachi place, Ayami. For lunch they had food trucks available too. The Italian place for lunch was really good. The walk to the beach was nice to have a little boardwalk. Being a privileged status, you get access to a 2nd beach bar called Pure Bar with some seating. We never had a problem finding beach chairs or pool chairs during our stay. The resort didn't seem that busy while we were there. It may have been a slow time (1st week in June). There is evening entertainment and a nightclub if you are interested in dancing the night away. Overall, my first all-inclusive experience was great for the price and...

I didn't have very much that I didn't like. But the salespeople who tried to talk to you about membership in their travel club might be the only negative. From what I read, that may be the norm at every resort in Cancun. They weren't pushy but just a little annoying.

Rooms are great! A lot of space, well distributed and well isolated from noise! Restaurants compared to other resorts were good quality. Beach is beautiful and there are plenty of beach chairs, so you will always find one free. Service is great and staff is really kind, as usual in Mexico! They have a lot of options (different restaurants) for lunch and snacks, so the variety of things you can taste are not comparable! It is just amazing. Food overall is above good.

Really minor things though, but I'd mention a couple: - The resort is not in the hotel zone, so it feels too far from any place that you want to visit, but this is a problem only if you are looking to do tourism outside the hotel. - The water in the pool was always hot, it wasn't refreshing at all. That might has to do with the strong sun in there but I've been to other resorts in Cancun and the water in pool wasn't hot like that!.Not sure though if the hotel could do something about it. - There is a DJ playing at the 5th avenue from 6pm only till 8pm. It was great if it could be extended at least until 9 or 10pm, because the music he plays creates a really nice vibes and atmosphere around it, but at 8 o'clock when show finishes, it feels like the hotel shuts down

Very nice brand new hotel. Big room. Excellent food. Rafael, bartender of Pure beach bar, was super friendly and gave us an excellent service. In general staff was very nice. Restaurant reservations online and was super easy, we had no problem booking for every night.

First room we got was in building 1, facing a huge pool were pool parties took place almost all day long, everyday. Super noise, not the place to be if you do not like music at high volumen. Second room was much better but the sea veiw was not that great. Elevetor would not work and we were in third floor. Service at restaurants was slow. Difficult to get a spot around the pool or at the beach, more people than spots.

Beautiful property, very modern and clean. The rooms are magnificent- we booked two deluxe privileged family suites and everyone in our family loved it. The food is exceptional, the facilities are great and most of the staff was wonderful. We unfortunately encountered some hiccups with some staff whom were either having a bad day or simply were rude to my elder parents. My father went to the coffee shop and was denied a pastry he requested because all their coffee machines were not working. Yet another gentleman walked in and requested pastries and was given some without hesitation. My father witnessed this and the staff member saw my father and then asked my father if he wanted his pastry after all. My father with a gold of heart said no thank you, I rather go somewhere else now - long story short, he asked for us not to ‘complain’ to management about this as that individual might lose their position- BUT without mentioning names, I wanted to let everyone know what happened, as I see this as completely unfair. Hence we booked (and had the color bracelet) one of the biggest and most expressive room options in this resort. Regardless of this incident, we enjoyed our stay. The spa prices are pretty cheap too compared to other resorts, so if you’re into the spa services - this is a great option.

The reservation system. I typically stay at resorts that don’t require them. Most restaurants we went to when we had reservations had room for more people but we could only find reservations after 7:30 then there would be only 2-3 other tables eating.

Good clean rooms with proper AC. Lots of eating options and a great buffet. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Bathrooms need locks. Easy to do but for some we didn’t have any locks. Hope they fix this small thing soon.

The wrist bands bc they couldn’t be cut down so stick out (becomes annoying), reservations are required for dinner everywhere but buffet, hard sale upon arrival

Excellent hotel. Our second time going there. First time we did not have a baby but it caught our eye, how child friendly this hotel was. So this year we took our almost one year old. We all loved it. Tons of entertainment, incredible food. So clean!
