The room was lovely and the small swimming pool in the room was very nice and deep, but also had a place to sit comfortably. The bed was large and really comfy

To get there the road is not properly paved and there were some serious road holes that being full of the rainwater were impossible to assess on how deep and damaging they were. Maybe bring a Jeep or just take a cab, we had a Toyota sub and still felt very vulnerable in that terrain. It’s not a massive stretch to get there (just a couple of blocks) but it still felt a bit too wild.

The hotel is great! We really enjoyed hanging by the pool/bar at the end of the day with some killer drinks. The room was nice with a verrrrry comfortable bed and good air conditioning + ceiling fan. Federico and Arturo were great! They were ready, willing and able to help with any questions you may have. Arturo had a day off and we invited him to join us to go to a cenote and the Mayan Ruins, it was great having a Mexican/local join us and help with any language barrier that came up. He was a lot of fun to hangout with and just a very nice person. We had a blast! The bartender made us some killer Mezcal with passion fruit drinks...make sure you ask for it! The cleaning ladies were very friendly and always with a smile on their faces. The rooftop areas are awesome for sunrise/sunset and you will hear a symphony of birdsongs. The shower was awesome with the rainshower style with great water pressure. It was Arturo and Federico that really made our experience at Majaro so special, whatever they are being paid...it's NOT ENOUGH! They are the heartbeat of this property and I can't say enough about their service and hospitality. Thanks guys, we hope to see you again soon!

Our room could definetly use better storage for clothes etc. The construction is a bit obnoxious, but that's the price of growth. The road is crazy so be very careful if you're in a rental car and hit the big holes at an angle. Watch for the BIG rocks and don't drive over them in the middle of your tires, go around or potentially destroy the gas tank or something else. Be careful pulling out onto the main road and stay to the far right to pull out, there is quite a dropoff/ledge in the middle. DO NOT DRIVE TO PUNTA ALLEN unless you have a big jeep/SUV with some clearance. It's a nightmare and takes 2.5 hours ninimum in a car. It's like the hotel road the entire way. Leave very early if you do.

Majaro was beautiful! It was very clean, I felt safe as a solo travel , I loved having a private pool ! The rate was very good for me. The staff was so kind ! Shoutout to Jared who really made my trip special! Juanita & Veronica were also very kind & attentive.

I never received breakfast from the hotel although it says it was included with the stay. It would have been nice to have some more eatery’s in the area.. but I see it’s still being developed so I hope to see it at my next stay.

The property is set to a high standard. Its amenities are great including the WiFi. The pool is relaxing and the beds are amazing. The rooms are equipped well with everything you need including robes. The staff are friendly and kind. The strawberry margaritas are absolutely amazing. Breakfast choices are good and presented very well but there is a downfall… It is prepared and then microwaved when you want it. I had hotcakes which were a little dry.

The area it’s in is a little out of town so you need a bike, car, taxi to get to the town or beach. Currently in the area there is a lot of construction going on so from 7am it becomes quite noisy. There is a roof top bar across the way too which has very loud music til midnight.

The property was clean and comfortable. Lots of space and beautiful surroundings. The staff were so welcoming after a horrible experience at the airport. Veronica was absolutely amazing and made my unplanned stay one to be remembered. She arranged taxis with trustworthy drivers, experiences and top tips for Tulum which were excellent. Without her my stay would definitely not be as safe and memorable.

There is construction work going on next door so be mindful of there being noise and construction workers being able to see into the outdoor shower.

The property is exactly as pictured. It was intimate, quiet and secure (needed an access code for the building).

The hotel is in a place that is under construction, so that may be an issue for other travelers. There is small staff and while they are accommodating (thank you Vanessa!) I can see it being an issue for other guests who need more maintenance (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.

Quiet and serene, great staff that was always available to answer questions, breakfast was excellent and a good value, pool area was extremely nice. Deluxe 1 bedroom was very large with high end finishes in all rooms. No problems with hot water and AC.

1 bedroom deluxe which is a very large one bedroom with a beautiful kitchen, but kitchen was not equipped to have any type of food. No dishes, 2 glasses/cups, no knife to cut fruit etc. small mini fridge.

the. way part about this property is the staff member particularly Fede. Fede is incredibly hard working and dedicated member of the team, he is always on hand around the clock to help guests. He was so kind and helpful to me and very conscientious, he always made sure I had the best information. Fede is an asset to hotel Majaro, I would be very happy to have employees like him 😊

the location is terrible. it is not near the sea or the town and the roads to the hotel are actually dirt tracks. There are no places to eat or drink close

Really great staff, beautiful apartments, quiet but really great cafe and roof top bar nearby.

Location is a bit far out, spent quite a lot of money on taxis which we didn’t budget for. The roads were in quite bad condition when we were there so it meant that cycling was quite difficult especially after it got dark. Not the hotels fault but something to consider budgeting for.

Beautiful rooms that smelled amazing and were so clean! We had the junior suite with outside plunge pool which was so nice! Sammi makes the best cocktails!

They need to get an iron. And a filtered water dispenser so you don’t have to use loads of plastic bottles. If the cocktails and food were cheaper we would have ate and drank alot more.
