This property is undergoing renovation and we stayed in one of the new rooms. The rooms were very large. Beds were comfortable. The staff was great and helped with several issues we had regarding our reservations. The breakfast was nice but it is all to go because there is currently no breakfast room. The woman serving the breakfast was very kind.

We had booked two rooms with 2 queens in each however when we checked in they told us they only had one and the other was a king. Which posed a problem for the number in our party. They were able to provide a roll away for the king room. We were told that the pool was open however it was very dirty and when we ask again we’re told that something was wrong with it and wouldn’t be open. The room with two queens the tv didn’t work and several staff tried but could never get it working.

The place was under construction. It was a little pricey for one night only. The receptionist was a new girl it took a while for us to get the room, she didn’t know what to do and she had to call someone. Other than that the room was great, we rested enough to continue our trip to California. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it.

I stay here at Nogales Holiday Inn twice every year traveling to and from Central Mexico. I really enjoy the always very consistent high quality with every stay. Yes, it's more expensive but there are times when traveling where I need a predictable high level of comfort

I always choose Holiday Inn Express Mariposa every time I travel to the border. I need the highest level of comfort, and consistency

The price is getting to almost out of reach. Seems like it doubled in 3 years

Stayed at this hotel several years ago. Knew what to expect.

We were told that Booking.com had double booked us & that Booking.com should have advised us prior to our arrival of the fact. We were not the only guests affected by the cock-up. Part of our group of six were going to be re-allocated to the Best Western next door. We refused to accept this. We told the hotel reception that as we were booking in ahead of other guests then it was them that should be moved to the BW not us. This problem caused at great deal of stress & anxiety to two of the group & spoilt the whole day. Eventually it was sorted & we all stayed together at The HI Express.

Breakfast was ok, hotel is being renovated so space was limited for breakfast, Handled it by making it like a sack lunch (breakfast).

Suggestions will be accomplished with completion of renovations. Renovated room was outstanding.

super comfortable, clean, exactly the location we needed, lovely breakfast, just an all around perfect spot for the night.

The weather was too cold for anything outside so I have no opinion on anything other than the inside- which was lovely.

Facilities and service.

I made a reservation for 4 people with 2 queen beds. When arrived to the room only had 1 queen bed. Frontdesk resolved the issue, but can’t provided the proper room with 2 queen beds.

The location was great for us because it is very close to the immigration offices. The breakfast was great, and the staff serving the food were nice.

However, what I didn't like is being ignored by the lady at the front counter when we arrived. Yes, she was helping another guest but it would have been nice to be at least acknowledged that we were there. I don't think it's hard to say that she is helping somebody else and will be with us shortly. Moreover, she left for a few minutes and just put a sign in front of us that she was gone or whatever it was. Again, without saying anything to us. That was plain rude! So we just hung there for about 10 minutes with a small baby being completely ignored.
