The Spa and Gift Store were extremely helpful and pleasant. The Stables restaurant was great but they had a big issue at night (table by window) where we literally was trying to seat them away.

The room was filled with mosquitos, we left with about 10 bites each and then wore gym pants and long sleeve shirts the last night to not be bitten. When cleaning the rooms, close the doors…that might help. The pool also needs a thorough cleaning of the spider webs beneath the lounge chairs and daily cleaning of the pool from tree pollen. I literally cleaned it myself to be able to swim.

The staff at the Spa were the nicest people. This was my first Spa treatment and it was incredible. So much so, I went back a second time. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. I would go back just for the Spa if I lived closer.

The restaurant was overpriced and the food was not that good. So much so that we ended up going to look for groceries and other nearby restaurants in the area. The rooms should have a microwave and an alternate way to heat up water for tea/coffee. I had to purchase white vinegar at the Tubac market so I could clean out the filthy Keurig coffee pod machine just to heat water. This was annoying. Also, there patio out the back door had a lot of large dog turds in the bushes next to the patio. Cleanliness was a problem here. WiFi and cell service were very poor in the room.

We only spent one night at the resort. It is an older facility but well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff at check in were friendly and informative. We felt very welcomed. Our room was walking distance to the restaurant and also the pool and spa which we did not use. I would come back and stay longer to be able to enjoy all the amenities.

Our main reason for staying at the Tubac Resort was to golf. Unfortunately they had begun overseeding and only 9 holes were available. We golfed elsewhere.

Wonderful resort-like feel with excellent food options on site.

Several small ants were in the “kitchenette” area of our room. They were crawling over the coffee maker and surrounding tile. I do not take this for lack of it being clean, but rather a seasonal issue in the desert, and not the fault of the resort.

Beautiful property. We had massages and were very happy with them. Ate breakfast and dinner in their restaurant and it was good food. Staff were attentive and even when they’re busy, our meals came out quickly. Had lots of fun shopping in Tubac. Would definitely stay here again if we return.

Bathroom in the casita was somewhat dated and the shower is pretty small.

We stayed in a hacienda king room and it was very clean and spacious. The room was very comfortable. The resort is well maintained and there is an abundance of shade to stay out of the sun.

There is some noticeable freeway noise but still overall pretty peaceful and relaxing

The staff was pleasant and check in was easy. The room was an unknown as we'd never stayed there. We were very pleased upon walking into the room. It was rustic, but elegant and very spacious.

I hate loose lamp shades...

Excellent restaurant, interesting architecture with thoughtful designer touches in former ranch property. Wonderful views of the mountains, excellent garden, and well maintained grounds.

The grounds, location, and room were nice. The room was over priced.

The Stable Grill was terrible as we were there for 2 1/2 hours and didn't get our food for over an hour. Both Managers stayed in the bar area.

love the property and the area. beautiful desert vistas and lots to do in the area. the restaurants are very good for the resort.

haven’t tried room service so not sure good that is. the room we’ve gotten is spacious but outside our patio it looks like the havolinas (wild pigs that give character to the area) relieved themselves too close to us. should be cleaned up each day! we love the wild animals but would prefer they keep the areas close to back patios clean.
