Perfectly lovely little INN ...just a few blocks from CENTRO , comfy and secure , immaculately clean , nice linens and bath , rooms are small and arranged in single row on covered upper floor logia ..all rooms face this gallery ( compromises privacy some what ) and garden , tile roof , bubbling fountain... somewhat claustrophobic....coffee maker in room in is nice and TV has good channel selection in SP FR ENG and GERMAN! ( rains a lot in COATEPEC so can come in handy ) ..there is a nice little restaurant open till 1pm MEXICAN A.M> standard dishes ( popular with locals , ALWAYS a GOOD SIGN) nice stay overall ..RECOMMEND

Coatepec IS a pueblo magico ....cool mountain climate , beautiful flowers and produce in market , clean streets and citizens are proud and friendly ..CHARMING PLACE TO VISIT ..big town of XALAPA is 80 or 100 peso cab ride away,,difficult to see VOLCANO because of low clouds and mists unfortunately

The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect for exploring downtown Coatepec.

Honestly, we were there for a day and everything was great.

The location is wonderful.You will need to walk a few blocks to the zocalo, yet that is wonderful as you pass an incredible church (it's pink & on the corner). They happened to be having organ and trumpet practice as we sat in awe. Plus, there is a fantastic cookie bakery on the route. And the buses back to Xalapa pick up on the next block. Super convenient. Every member of the staff were absolutely delightful.

Wifi is slower (4Mbps) than other stays I have had in Mexico but still usable.

The hotel is very old and the facilities does not have proper options for cold nights. I would not stay here again, however the staff was helpful.

The hotel is nice. The architecture and design are nice. It is close to lots of things in Coatepec. Staff are friendly.

The beds are AWFUL. I have never slept on a more uncomfortable bed. I rented three rooms. All three had very hard, uncomfortable beds. I would gladly pay a little more for newer, more comfortable beds.
