We had stayed at Hotel Pastora some years ago, and was not very good at that time, especially from the staff at reception, they were a bit rude and useless. This time, it was totally different, very helpful and friendly.

The Internet was not very good but at the end worked well. It does not have a lift (elevator), so you have to carry your bags, even though it is only one floor. The car park is alwalys locked, and to go to your vehicle you have to ask somebody to open it for you. In fact, this last thing is good because it guarantees that the vehicles are safe.

The hotel is located very centrally, within a short walking distance from the main square where all the restaurants and places of interest are. It provides a decent level of comfort for a fair price. The staff are all well-meaning and trying to help. They also have a small parking lot, which is helpful, considering the centre of Cordoba does not have much space for parking.

I was a bit baffled by the fact they could not locate my booking. In some other hotels staff sometimes struggled to see my bookings made through Booking.com, but here they simply could not find it - not by my name, not by the confirmation number in the Booking app. They ended up offering me a room that had 3 sleeping places for the 4 of us, which was unacceptable, but luckily they had a more expensive option with two king-size beds, so we ended up having a comfortable sleep after all. The only downside in that expensive room was the bathroom, which started smelling as soon as we started using it and by the morning the smell was quite unbearable.

Super friendly and professional staff. Great room, big bed, clean, and comfortable. They had parking for our car which was very convenient. Overall a GREAT experience!! Thank you!
