Friendly staff and clean facilities. There were four options for the complimentary breakfast: Red enchiladas Green enchiladas Enfrijoladas (similar to enchiladas but with beans on top instead) And eggs with beans on the side (and tortillas) They were all good! They give you a tiny bit of fruit before and coffee.

I think I expected more of the neighborhood but that was my fault for not researching the city and area. It wasn’t unsafe though.

Clean, large, bright, friendly room, generally comfortable and with a good price-benefit relationship.

Wifi was not accessible in room. Wide gap under the room door. "Do not disturb" signs would be nice, well-intended hotel staff tended to knock for cleaning or to provide the breakfast voucher at just the wrong moment.

This hotel is a beautiful old converted colonial house. The outside is very attractive, with flowering plants and trees, and inside, it is equally charming. There is a large dining area, where locals come to meet and eat, and where hotel residents have breakfast - coffee, juice, fruit and a choice of cooked dishes. The rooms were quirkily furnished and the beds were very comfortable. Reception is manned 24/7, and there is a safe, secure atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, took our cases to our rooms, gave us directions into town and got us a taxi. The location is perfect - on a street which leads down to the town centre, with shops, restaurants, supermarkets, market and the main square. We had a delicious cappuccino con cajeta - try it! The must-see thing about Xalapa is the fabulous Museo de Arqueologia de Xalapa (MAX). It’s easy to get there by taxi. I loved Xalapa, it was a friendly place, with plenty to do.

The hotel is very good located, historical centre is in the food distance, nice hotel in the colonial style, very nice personel. The breakfest in the restaurant was tasty. There is wifi and undergound parking.

We booked the suite with jacuzzi. A big ask to the hotel management. The entrance to jacuzzy is really dangerous. Maybe you can built there small steps. I ugly hurt myself by going out. Now I still have blue bruisses.

It was very clean , secure parking . Staff very nice . Room a very generous size

Sound proofing poor .. could hear the people above us . Black out curtains didn’t stop the light from the flickering street light . Solved by wearing our eye masks

Good location, 10 minutes from the City Centre. Clean, but old towels and bed linen. Netflix and wifi worked well. Helpful staff.

Poor ventilation and problem with humidity. I washed my socks, two days later they were still wet..

Like in many places in Mexico, the plumbing isn't done properly and there can be a cooked cabbage smell from sink and showers. It's harmless gas but unpleasant.

Location, decoration, style.

The last day of our stay they were low on staff. Only one waiter tending breakfast and it was hard for him alone to take care of all the tables. We didn't get orange juice and the fruit that were part of our breakfast. Probably they were short on staff because it was Christmas Eve.

location, just out of busy centre, but easy to get there by foot. The quite room and friendly staff. All was very clean and tidy.

We had hoped the restaurant would be open, but it was closed that evening.

The hotel staff was super cool and helpful. The first room was with a dirty floor and they put us in another one. Breakfast was adjusted for me as a vegetarian.

The room does not have a window to actual air but to hotel hallway. It was a bit humid inside and the air was a bit difficult and stinky. Also, you can hear noise if someone had an early breakfast or stayed at bar reception.
