The staff was very welcoming and professional, Eduardo at the reception with his bright smile as well as the attentive restaurant staff. I stayed in room 6 which is the last one on the ground floor and loved it. Beautifully decorated and with a calming view to the garden and all greenery outside, it was very peaceful. The bed was very comfy, the AC was blowing cold fresh air, and I rested well overnight. I decided to dine in the hotel restaurant, and oh boy what a lovely surprise. The menu consists of Spanish classics, tortilla espanola, pulpo alla gallega, croquettes etc. Everything was well executed in terms of quality, flavor and plating. I did enjoy my free margarita too :) Breakfast was included and also very good, with many options to chose from, well cooked and presented.

I knew I'd need something different after a week at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun. On a whim, I booked Hotel Olbil because I liked the pictures of the cocktails, garden, and big bathtub. My choice turned out to be the perfect long weekend oasis! The hotel is a bit outside of the center of town and the sidewalks leading there are far from rolling suitcase friendly, but once you arrive, you find all the comforts one could hope for. The front desk staff, Eduardo and Stephanie, were always available to assist with any request we may have -- pointing out local activities, good restaurants, or helping to book a cycling tour. Everything the reviews say about the cocktail bar are true: we started with the "bebida bienvenidos" from Roberto and enjoyed more inspired infusions with Gael... learning more about Vallodilid as we consumed and chatted. And of course, the room had everything we needed -- a comfortable bed, good AC, a huge bathtub, a hot rain shower, candles, bluetooth speaker, double bathroom sink, so much lighting, and an awesome hammock. We had tours booked starting early most days, but we were really glad to have a day to sleep in, relax in the room, savor the breakfast, and even book massages. Be sure to try the street tacos at El Pastor just a block or two away. Hotel Olbil is the perfect home away from home in Valladolid!

We had an incredible experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally welcoming, kind, and constantly went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The room was not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out. The entire property exudes charm and elegance, with a clear attention to detail that elevates the whole experience. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay, and there's no doubt—we will definitely be coming back!

Everything! The bed was big and comfy. The room was spacious and well decorated and immaculately clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly. We mentioned when we were arriving, and they stored our luggage and let us check in an hour only. The breakfast food was delicious. Also the restaurant for lunch/evening meal was great too. If you have any doubts about booking here, ignore them and book it. You won't regret it. This place was amazing and we miss it already.

The only thing I would change is for breakfast to be served earlier so that you can still travel to Chichen Itza early in the morning.

A beautiful hotel with exceptional staff just out of the main hubbub of Valladolid. The aesthetic of the hotel was stunning and it offered a serene retreat after sightseeing in the heat. We had the pleasure of being there over New Year’s Eve and attended the hotel’s celebrations - delicious meal, musical entertainment including a very lively mariachi band, sparklers and a champagne toast! A great way to welcome the New Year! We also tried the spa facilities and had an amazing ‘Chocolate Experience’ which included a scrub, wrap and massage. The therapists were very respectful but also attentive. Even my partner who is not a spa regular commented on the experience! Highly recommend this hotel. I almost forgot the cocktails!

Amazing place. The room feels luxurious with an incredible bathroom and hammock to relax in. The garden and pool are very relaxing. It's a short walk into town or a cheap taxi if you don't fancy the walk. The food there is delicious, with a very generous breakfast in the morning The staff are all very friendly and attentive, they helped us with arranging a tour and a transfer and really helped make the stay a positive one

The music played in the restaurant echos down the corridor and can be quite loud. It would be more relaxing if this wasn't on when breakfast starts (at 7:30am), so that light sleepers don't wake up to it

Don't look any further, book this beautiful boutique hotel - you will not regret it !!! :-) This hotel exceeded our expectations!! The rooms are nicely decorated, they are spacious, modern and extremely clean. The bar area invites for a welcome drink and the hotel has got a beautiful small restaurant which we decided to try out and it was the best decision ever !! The food was delicious and the ambience was really special. The lighting around the pool created a beautiful setting for a peaceful dinner with a delicious glass of vino. The breakfast in the morning was equally tasty. We would definitely stay here again !!!

Beautiful room with hammock, comfortable large bed, great rain shower and double sink. The property had a beautiful internal garden with trees, plants and flowers. Good bar and restaurant with wonderful staff. We were there on Valentine’s Day and they provided an amazing valentines dinner with an accompanying Mariachi band. The breakfast is delicious - highly recommended.

It was a good 10-15 minute walk to the centre so you may wish to consider a taxi which are very reasonably priced in Valladolid. There wasn’t any facilities to make a coffee in the room.

The room was gorgeous and I loved the hammock by the window. A great way to relax and wind-down. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the center but still quite. The garden was beautiful and very well kept. Note that the hotel is very narrow with passage thorught the eating area when entering and leaving the hotel. The pool area is directly in front of the ground level rooms so I would assume privacy is limited. However, as the hotel small and not crowded shouldn't be an issue. Overall I loved it and would recommend!

The breakfast menu - it was not very clear what was included in the included breakfast and what was add-on. Would have been helpful with better clarify on the menu as English proficiency is limited with staff. I would also have appreciated an easier way to communicate with front desk eg. a What's app link for room service. The AC was a bit noisy.
