This hotel was much nicer than I had expected. It was absolutely in the city center, the decor was luxurious, the room was huge, and there was even a bathtub! I used the gym and sauna as well, which were nice amenities to have.

They seem to be understaffed to keep up with tasks. There was often a wait at the reception desk, even if it was just that two or three receptionists were talking about something and no other customers waiting. There were often issues at breakfast (such as the coffee machine not working, or the phone ringing and ringing), but there was nobody working or helping. Also, it seems that they don't refill anything at breakfast (so when the eggs are gone in the first half hour, there won't be more later), so I recommend going immediately when breakfast opens in the morning and not waiting until later.

The stay was nice. As the hotel is located in the downtown, we enjoyed walks both to our office as well as to the main highlights of Chisinau. There is a lot of nice cafes and restaurants nearby as well as grocery stores. Breakfasts were quite rich and tasty.

Sometimes it took a bit longer to get warm water (but that could have been caused by low occupancy). The heating was not adjustable in one of our rooms, but that was easy to fix.

The room has been spacious and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable. The heating was a bit noisy but worked well. The hotel has a convenient location with a number of inexpensive restaurants and bars with good and inexpensive food. If you arrive in Moldova via the Chisinau airport, you can even take a trolleybus (0,30euro for the ride including suitcase although can get crowded, so taxi is probably a better option). The staff of the hotel is very friendly and really helpful if you have any questions about the city, moving around, etc. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money.

The hotel offered a small complimentary bottle of water on arrival. However, it was not replaced with a new one neither on the second nor the third day. Of course, you can go to the shop and buy something yourself. However, if you arrive late and you are tired, such a small thing could help improve the overall impression. As for the bathroom, it seemed to lack a socket e.g. for charging a shaver (at least I did not find one), so you have to do it in the room. Not a problem although unusual. The breakfast was rather basic and fairly same every day, so on the third morning you may start thinking about eating breakfast in some cafes or restaurants nearby (e.g. La Placinte offers tasty Moldovan breakfast) and you may have a good chance of eating really well.

The location is very good, the room was also nice, and the staff was helpful - the heating stopped working one day and they gave me a small heater for the room which was just fine.

I really missed a kettle in the room - which is really something you expect in a four star hotel that mainly caters to business travellers. The breakfast is a bit basic and almost the same everyday, but it's enough to get you started. The coffee, unlike many hotels, was really good though.

The location was fine, in the area where most of the hotels are. The room was fine in size and comfortable.

The offered supplies were elementaty: one small bottle of water only the first day, while room-service and/or bar were closed. Difficult to hear 'hello' or to see a smile from the personnel, like in the old soviet times in the region, a pity.

Good location. I walked from the bus station (15 minutes). Once at the hotel I could walk to everything in the city. I do not like renting a car in a foreign country unless very necessary. If you do not want to walk you could Uber for a reasonable price. Front desk staff were pleasant. I stayed an extra day and they changed the breakfast buffet selection. I like that. Breakfast was good and filling for a full day exploring.

Like others have said, a tea kettle in the room for coffee/tea would be nice. Some people do not want to go to breakfast or like to relax in the evenings with some tea. Maybe the mattress was a bit thin for people who are picky, but it was fine with me.

They could have left a bottle of water in the room, or at least to have the possibility to order one at the room. For minimal things like a bootle of water or a coffee or a telephone at the room, the guest can loose all the confy that the hotel can offer. It' s a pitty

there’s no proper restaurant or Lounge that would offer food and drinks, not even room service. In your rooms you won’t find any info or phone number for reception, restaurant or spa and gym. Bathroom is really dark, yellow poor lightning, A/C is not adjustable, there’s no remote control or panel, it was really cold for me. In regards to your room view, most likely you’ll get view to another buildings, straight into another window. Gym is quite small, no proper equipment, dusty, nobody uses it. In sauna there’s no instructions on how to use it or how to turn it on, as it’s off at all the time, not sure that it works at all.

The location is very good and rooms are large. Staff was very nice and polite.

The breakfast table is very empty after 8:30 AM, no refill. Even was early september, was cold in the rooms and I could not adjust the temperature, as the machine has only cold air.

Good location. A modest hotel. In downtown. Close to restaurants, etc. Friendly staff. Good size room.

Part of the hotel was under construction, which wasn't mentioned on the website.
