This place is a little slice of heaven. From the moment we walked in, we felt something special. It immediately felt like home. Idriss and his brothers are the kindest people with the purest hearts. They treated us like family. On top of that came the amazing food that was freshly prepared for us every day. Let’s not forget the great location, a bit away from all the more crowded tourist places, so you really can enjoy the peace and quiet. Oh and did we already mentioned the amazing view? As you can see, we would highly recommend staying here, and if you have time (make time), for more than one night!

Nothing to not love :)

Great guesthouse that we can highly recommend. Very personal host and stay, making you feel right at home. Manager is also the chef and makes for delicious home cooked Tajine, which was done vegetarian at simple request, best one we had our entire trip. A short 5' ride outside of Ait Ben Haddou so you're spared all the noise and bustle of that place, leaving with a great peaceful quiet night and wonderful sunrise views from the rooms terrace. Everything very clean and cosy large guest area to lounge or eat.

We travelled in winter, and it gets very cold at night in the Atlas. Understandably for Morocco, there is no heating in the rooms and floor was icecold. Extra blankets were provided so we slept comfortably, but the cold makes you not hang out too much in the room (but the fireplace livingroom made up plenty).

The breakfast was great. The dinner was also great. I liked the ambience of the eating area, the decoration and the music was unique. Ibrahim was very helpful. He was the cook. He has the sense of humor : ). I really liked what he served me. Thanks to Crazy Ibrahim. Regards. The balcony and the view of balcony was great at night. The room and the hotel was authentic. I also liked the decoration and lighting of the room.

I have received what I expected from this place. I think there is nothing to mention as a negative point. Maybe the bathroom area could be improved.

The Road is quirky and colourful. Very good value for money. The breakfast was fantastic very good coffee delicious pancakes and jams fruit and an excellent omelette Ibrahim who greeted us was fantastic and incredibly helpful, funny and chatty. He is an excellent cook. Dinner was also excellent

The double bedrooms we chose with a balcony were very cramped and rather noisy from the road for us but very good value. I did ask if we could swap to a larger room but the Riad was full. The triple on the top floor was fantastic and we loved the roof terrace. It was a fun stay.

There’s lots to write about: the view from the room was amazing as Ayouze Auberge overlooks the terrain with rocky hills and patches of green. The rooms were standard and comfortable, but hosts are a real magic- Ibrahim and Idris are very welcoming and generous and great people to chat with. The food was the best we had in Morocco in our 15 days especially the vegetarian tajine that Ibrahim promised will be the nicest we have had. The breakfast was tastier than most other places we have had in morocco. And all of this at very economical price. Proximity to ait ben haddou is a big plus, and so is their great collection of books on sufism, art, literature etc. Idris is a great storyteller and an adventure junkie you must interact while there.

All good!

We spent two wonderful nights at Auberge Ayouze. Situated just 3 km from the center of Ait Ben Haddou, the auberge offers a serene and peaceful setting. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful walk along the water leading to the center. The staff at Auberge Ayouze were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to chat and make guests feel at home. The entire place has a charming and atmospheric feel, very clean. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. Every meal was a delight; delicious breakfast each morning and the evening three-course dinner was simply fantastic. It was also nice that we could enjoy a glass of wine or beer with our meals :-). If you're looking for a place to unwind and find peace, Auberge Ayouze is perfect. Highly recommended!

I really don't know where to start to my experience... everything was amazing. The charm of the guesthouse and its unique style. My stunning room, spacious and clean with a comfy bed and a pleasent temperatured shower. The mind-blowing view from the balcony. The calm and zen in the air. The delicious breakfast on the terrace and the lovingly prepared varied dinner. Idriss and his friends are exceptional hosts, attentive and obligingly and he himself is an incredible conversationalist who completely redefines Moroccan hospitality. I learned a lot about amazigh life and culture and felt so much like home. Shukran Jazilaan Lak!

Décor, restaurants views and the staff. Such a lovely place to stay after the long drive. Dinner was amazing and we slept very good. Breakfast was wonderful too. Abraham is very friendly, kind and fabulous chef. Highly recommend this place.

Hot water for the shower was hard to control. It was hot for few minutes and go back to normal temperature and a couple minutes later become super hot again.

Our stay at Ayouze Auberge was wonderful. We originally wanted to stay two nights and then spontaneously decided to stay one more night, since we liked it so much. For us it was a great place to find some peace and quiet after driving around quite a lot. Idris is awesome and gave us great advice where to go hiking in the area. Even though the auberge is just a few walking minutes away from Ait Ben Haddou, it feels miles away from all the tourists and hassle. The view over the oasis is breathtaking. The room was cozy and we even had a private view on the backside of Ait Ben Haddou and the gardens. In the evening and at night it was very quiet, just some animal sounds all around. Every morning and evening we looked forward to the food - we had the best food of our entire trip here (and the best salad we ever tasted). And last but not least, Idris cat Hübsch, who mostly snoozes somewhere in the entrance hall or on the terrace, makes the place complete. He is always open for some cuddles and one can easily get jealous of what a good life he’s living! :-)

Wow! So sad to have to leave after just one night. We highly recommend planning a longer stay here. Idriss is a wonderful, friendly and interesting person and an absolutely incredible chef. His cooking skills are something else….not just compared to other places in Morocco but anywhere in the world! The salad was heavenly the tangin, served with an extra orange sauce, was so incredibly delicious with tender meat, roasted pumpkin, potatoes slightly crispy…I could go on. The building itself is really beautifully decorated with real taste and is very cosy. There is seating both indoor with a fire or outdoor on a large patio. There are interesting books to browse. We are already planning our next visit.
