Very friendly welcome by the host and the neighborhood people. The Riad is a bit hard to find. If you find the little square with the waterfountain (which is also the place where the local cats hold their board meetings), you can park there. A little boy directed us to park there and guided us as if he was taxiing an airplane and walked us to the door. The room was very nicely decorated, the beds were extremely comfortable and there was a nice bathroom. Internet available. We were welcomed with tea and cookies. The host had a map with some activities for the area. The Riad is in a local neighborhood on the edge of the town, walking distance to the center. Nice breakfast. roof terrace with good views.

Our stay at Dar Rita was great. Tucked away in an interesting alleyway of Ouarzazate, this riad was beautiful, comfortable, and had an excellent buffet breakfast. The owner has taken great care to decorate the place with many beautiful crafts from Morocco; both the common spaces and the rooms feel welcoming and cozy. There's even a hangout spot on the second floor with games and books in case you want to spend the evenings relaxing in the riad. The terrace was nice and that the host offered us some great tips for getting to Ait Benhaddou. We could tell the owner took pride in delicious food for both the welcome tea & snacks AND the wonderful breakfast. As breakfast opened, he was just returning from a bakery with some warm crunch baguettes (yum!), and the other offerings were good quality and really tasty. What truly sets this riad apart is the hospitality. We felt like honored guests rather than tourists, and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you want an authentic Ouarzazate experience with comfortable accommodations and a breakfast worth waking up early for, Dar Rita delivers on every level.

The hotel is good enough as hotels goes, with a family vibe and very friendly staff, i particularly commend the work of Khaled, wo does everything within his power to make your stay memorable. He's friendly and certainly one of the highlights of the trip. I am interested in history and culture, and he was a most valuable help to give me tips of where to go and what to see, and connecting me with a wide range of operators that could take me to places, etc. I particularly recommend a taxi driver, that works closely with the hotel, Mberak, who is an absolute delight to travel with, knowledgeable of the region, very jolly and his prices are more than reasonable. A lovely experience altogether, I did feel as if I arrived to the perfect place for me.

In the first floor the internet connection was a bit unreliable and slow. So I had to do some work mostly from the common room downstairs, which is fine.

I must say the riad itself is very nice - shower with hot water is definitely a highlight. After traveling around for a bit, we realized it is not always available. The room is nice as well and offers some extra space. We had dinner and it was generous and tasty. Breakfast is more or less the same in all riads. Super nice host.

The neighborhood where this riad is located is all under construction. There is no parking and only with help of the host we parked around the corner amongst construction. We were in a group but if I was a solo traveler I wouldn't feel good arriving to this street to find my hotel. Wifi was dropping a lot for us, but maybe it's location of the room or temporary issue.

The hospitality was exceptional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were introduced to some interesting local facts, which added a unique touch to our visit. Everything in the hotel was perfectly in place, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The aura was delightful, and the breakfast was a fantastic start to our day. Although our stay was brief, I highly recommend this hotel. The terrace offers beautiful views, and the area has been beautifully renovated recently. Don't be afraid to find it—it's truly worth the visit. Overall, it's a superb place to stay in Quarzazate!

This is a lovely guesthouse. It is very clean and quiet. Rooms are very comfortable. Showers have hot water and goood pressure (you may have to wait for the hot water but it comes). Our bed was very comfortable, sheets and towels are clean. Breakfast is delicious with many choices including boiled eggs, few types of bread, olives, dates, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and tea. There is construction going on in the neighbourhood but it stops around dinner time. It's very close to share taxis (Grand Taxis) to Ait Ben Haddou. There are good restaurants and a Carrefour 10 minutes walk away,. The owners are very nice and helpful. We were able to leave our bags for a couple of hours before check-in.

It's a 20 or 30 minute walk to CTM bus station, but taxis are cheap or it's an easy walk. Lighting in the room could be a bit better.

Breakfast was superb, fresh and very rich. Thank you for hosting and making us feel welcome! This is an authentic riad, furniture is traditional and the place is cozy. Terrace is so nice!

The location is probably the only downside of this property. I mean, the small community and square nearby are lovely, but there is not much more and it is really not at convenient walking distance from the centre of Ourzazate. You need a car or get a taxi to go to the centre. Everything else was very good!

The owner was warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Nice little touches like tea, coffee and dates available all day. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was also simple but perfect for our needs. Overall very good value for money, and the perfect place for a stopover in Ouarzazate.

The only small negative is that the ground floor room leads straight onto the living/breakfast area. However the host provides earplugs. It wouldn’t deter me, just perhaps if you’re a light sleeper aim for a 1st floor room.

The room was so comfortable and clean. It was well set up with lamps, mirrors, hangers etc. The bed and pillows were the best we have had in Morocco so far. The host was so kind and helpful. Such a happy and kind man. He lets us treat the Riad as if it was our home. We spent some time on the lovely terrace too. The breakfast was a buffet which was brilliant for us as it meant there wasn't any food wastage bescause we could choose what we wanted. With every Riad you will always hear other people, however Riad Dar Rita has a quiet rule after 10pm and before 8am. This is a good idea to minimise noise. Thank you for our stay :)

After spending a few nights in Marrakech it was brilliant to head to Ouarzazate and Dar Rita did not disappoint. Khalid was amazing and so welcoming, nothing seemed to be too much for him. He told us what we could do in the area and was very helpful if we had any questions. The room was lovely, it was the comfiest that we stayed in whilst we were in Morocco which we were very impressed with for the price. The decor was lovely and we spent some time on the rooftop terrace to finish off our trip which was lovely. We also had the dinner and the breakfast which were great and again good value for your money. I would definitely recommend it.
