Typical Ibis hotel with larger room and nicer bathroom than you normally encounter in Europe. Although a little worn it is perfectly acceptable and very clean with parking right in front. We particularly enjoyed the shower which was functional and has plenty of hot water and a hairdryer. Maybe the best part is that it is much quieter than any other of the numerous hotels we have stayed in in Morocco. There is much less noise from the corridor and other rooms which is the most unbearable part of hotels here. Kasbah within 5 minutes walk and a couple of restaurants/ cafes where you can have very good breakfasts and other meals/ drinks at very reasonable prices.

The room was tidy and clean, classic size - just enough for 2 people. The view was lovely.

No kettle in the room, which is quite unexpected. I did not enjoy a loud music around the pool. It was playing past 23:00, one night almost until midnight. I couldn't rest/sleep.

This was my first stay and I have given more details in the review of our second stay the same week during our trip from Agadir to Merzouga. Great value for money, nice pool, confortable, private parking, bar, clean and very well located.

Like I mentioned in my second review of this hotel, everything is excellent except for the staff at the main desk. Not polite. The best staff member was the parking guy. We loved him. And we will miss him cause they did not renew his contract. He was the one who helped us with routes, tips for tourism in Ouarzazate, friendly, charming, good person. The guy at the bar was serving gin tonics to other clients but he told me that he would not serve me another beer. Not nice treatment to women who want to drink a beer alone. That’s sick.

The place has the Ibis standard, with beautiful Morocco inspired decoration. It has a gorgeous view, and a beautiful place to eat. Rooms have all the basics you can need for a short staying. Breakfast is abundant and has diferent local and international options. In a trip of 20 days... this was the first place where my daughter found cereal.

We could not use the pool because it is cold (not a big issue, it was not our key objective). Service was fine but not as warmer and candid as we had in other places in the region.

Booked because the pool area looked the best for the price and it did not disappoint. Lovely pool area, with loungers, grasses areas, hammocks and couches. Rooms were basic but clean, which was fine as we spent barely any time in there anyway! Breakfast was ok, but nowhere really nearby as an alternative option so was an easy option. Plus they had a bar, which of course restaurants do not. Ps nearby Full Sun cafe had the best food we had on our long weekend stay :)

Area not totally central but still easy walk/short taxi ride away from everything.

The pool and the outside area were amazing. It was great that we could easily find a restaurant by the hotel, therefore we were able to go out even in the heat. We liked that it wasn’t too busy and staff were not pushy and over the top.

On the first night, we had to deal with ants. But after using a repellent and not having any sweets in the room, they went away.

All in all, very good considering the location. Relatively clean, practically the maximum you can find in Morocco :) We were given a room with a view over the kasbah. Very good shower, strong pressure, really hot water. Conditioner can work in the heating mode. It was quite in the room overlooking the kasbah. Remarkably good WiFi. Our baggage was stored for several hours, also the staff printed our boarding passes.

Nothing, actually, it was much better than expected based on the reviews i have read. But i can see why some clients may be unhappy with the staff -- no phoney smiles, they just do their job and don't pretend they are extremely happy to see you. I wasn't extremely happy to see them either, but we were provided with all the services we have asked for, so i was happy after all.

I have stayed in many Ibis hotels around the world. I am always impressed by availability of services for the price. This Ibis was no different. Rooms were small but comfortable. It was pretty quiet at night. Swimming pool was very clean and a lovely temperature for March. The only negative was service in the bar was very slow in the evening but it didn’t affect us negatively as we were happy to chat and wait.

The size of the room was over my expectation, and I liked the one and a half bathroom that allowed me and my husband to do the morning routine meanwhile, expecially friendly for girls who need to make up in the morning. lol

They need to improve the service quality. Our room was not that clean. The table was a bit dusty. You need a card to swipe and open the door. That was definitly a hard effort. You should try many times and call a staff...
