This is a great choice for Ait Bennahadou. We arrived in the midday heat and they advised us to wait until 5pm to visit - when the crowds and heat subside. This turned out to be a great call! The Riad is a short walk outside of town, but personally we preferred that so we weren't surrounded by crowds. You can easily walk to Ait Bennahadou. The accommodation itself is clean and comfortable. There is a seating area and small pool where you arrive, but we spent what time we had on the lovely roof deck, which has great views and plenty of comfy seating. Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated, with a large comfy bed and good bathroom. Both dinner and breakfast were well presented and tasty and the service was excellent. Wifi was good. Parking area is small, but we had no issues getting in or out. The hosts are very friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect.

There's not much to see/do in the town, except Ait Bennahadou itself and lots of tourist shops, but we knew that before arriving so no surprise.

The Riad Caravene is fantastic in every way. The riad looks like something from House Beautiful with beautiful spaces and lovely art. The rooms are gorgeous, the common spaces lovely. Particularly nice are the two terraces near and at the top of the riad, with great views in all directions and lovely furnishings. The small pool and deck on the ground floor also were lovely and a perfect spot after walking around the ksar. The staff were wonderfully helpful and the food outstanding. We would return in a heartbeat if our travels take us this way again. Thanks to all!

I had stayed at Riad Caravane in February 2024 and was so impressed that I vowed to return. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated and appointed. The rooms are a great mix of comfort and local style. There is a large two-level roof terrace with spectacular views (especially at sunset and dawn). The food in the restaurant is excellent and, like the rooms, local in content with some nicely added twists. the staff are helpful and well-informed. I have stayed at a number of different places in Ait Ben Haddou but this is comfortably the best.

The only very minor drawback is the location which is not directly facing the kasbahs. However, the 15 minute walk in through the fields is pleasant and the Caravane's staff show you the way.

We stayed one night from Feb 17-18 in the Superior Quadruple suite. This is a great place to stay a night or more in Ait Benhaddou. The best way to visit Ait is to stay a night as you can enjoy sunset and sunrise without the tour bus crowds during the day – there are not too many tourist around in the eve and in the morning (but mind you that we were there in Feb – might be different in the higher season) Lovely and helpful staff They serve a great and tasteful dinner in great atmosphere and with great service- don’t miss it! Very spacious, bright room with tasteful interior Just like the very tasteful interior in the entire Riad Super quiet Nice roof top terrace with great views to the Kasbah We had a car, but it is only a 15 min walk to the Kasbah. Before you go, check out if not one of the movie companies produces a movie there and locks up the old Kasbah and you cannot enter it - 2 weeks after our visits the Kasbah would have been closed for a while for Christopher Nolan’s «The Odyssey» and they had already started to border up the Kasbah up (e.g. we could not enter through the old gate any more). The Riad is a clear top recommendation for us!

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Riad for two nights. It was an great experience. The food was absolutely delicious and prepared with great care and love, making every meal a delight. We had the best Tajines in Morocco at Riad Caravane. The view from the rooftop is a must. The rooms are furnished with attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcome and comfortable. They were incredibly courteous, always eager to help, and made sure that everything was just perfect.

the Chef is Outstanding ! A+++ - and we live in NYC and have travelled extensively for many years. Also the rooms and the views of Ait Ben Haddou is stunning. Hassan is the head manager and goes Out of his way to assist and help guests with anything! def go horseback riding with the Nomad horses nearby - Riad Caravane will arrange. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. We were greeted by kind and helpful staff, who really made our stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was amazing, fresh and delicious. The rooms are very beautiful, nicely decorated and super clean. There are two large terraces where you can chill and enjoy the view. The interior design of the whole riad is amazing. It is located a bit out of Ait Ben Haddou, which makes it very calm and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend and go back.

We had a wonderful time here! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home and comfortable. Hassan was a great host and we really enjoyed talking with him. We had one of our favorite breakfasts on the trip at this Riad which was included in the price. The staff even upgraded our room as there was a nicer room available and let me know tell you it was really nicely size and the decoration was lovely. It also had an amazing shower which was nice after a long hot day. The pool was refreshing and they even brought us little snacks and tea. They had nice pool beds that were just perfect after sitting in a car all day. All I can say is this raid was one of our favorite on our road trip and would highly recommend staying here if you want something a bit more luxurious at a good price!

The only downside I would say was the bed. The bed was quite hard, but to be fair most of the beds we had in Morocco were not great. For the rest was a wonderful accommodation!

The hotel is very neatly and nicely decorated. A small oasis in a less nice environment. When you arrive you will not expect to find such a gem in the middle of such a dusty and chaotic town. The food was really very nice, the best we had in our tour of Morocco. The people running the hotel were very nice and went out of their way to make is as comfortable as possible. They even picked us up after our walk to and visit of the old Kasbah.

Not one bad word. Really enjoyed our stay. If there is one thing, but that is for the whole of Morocco… Flies…

Dinner was superb with good wine, a great atmosphere and unexpected but pleasant live musical rendition that was enjoyable. Breakfast was a satisfying Moroccan fare and more than plenty. The room (1 of 8) was splendid, large and comfortable with great views of the famous Kasbah and village. Similarly the 2 rooftop terraces were most comfortable, shady or not as you pleased with great views. Wi-fi was very good and free. But the most outstanding feature of our stay was the fabulous attention to detail and warm hospitality and friendliness from the staff

An omelette at breakfast would be wonderful. The B.com blurb did not mention that the pool would be shut.
