There’s nothing I can say to properly express how amazing this place is! The interior is breath taking! It’s beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated. Attention was put into every single detail. We loved everything about the property. Now onto the part of our stay that touched our hearts and changed our trip around.. we initially booked a different riad which turned out to be far less than our expectations. We booked our stay at riad Antara last minute when we decided to abandon our initial accommodation. Anne and Abdul met us down the street from Riad Antara and helped us carry our luggage. They even saved us from a man actively trying to swindle us for money. We were greeted with a pastry spread and Moroccan tea. Laurent owns this Riad with Anne and they made sure to treat us like family. Our last morning in Marrakech came super early.. before the sun came up. Laurent and another employee met us at the room to take our luggage down. They packed us a two person lunch to take with us on our journey to the Sahara. It was heart touching. Then, Laurent and staff carried our luggage all the way to the pick up spot we needed to be at by 6:30am - understand that the streets in Marrakech are cobble stone so dragging a heavy suitcase is no easy task. I received a text from Laurent the following day saying that we had left a very large, expensive painting behind at the Riad. Laurent went to the trouble of finding a way to package it and mail it back to us in the states. There’s not a single bad thing to say about this place. It was truly magical. Everything was taken care of for us despite booking it the day of. We love Laurent, Anne, and Abdul! We’re forever grateful. They turned our trip around for sure.

Absolutely nothing

The owners, Laurent and his wife are wonderful. They are on site and will greet you at the taxi drop. Their passion in the Riad is clear and their love of Marrakech immediately evident. The detail in the rooms is exquisite. The staff are extraordinarily accommodating. The Riad is ideally located in the old Medina just steps from the chaos of the medina commerce, but behind the riad doors feels completely isolated from the rest of the world. I don't typically do reviews, but Riad Antara deserves the recognition.

This was our first visit to Morrocco. We’re so glad for choosing Riad Antara. Laurent & Anna helped us plan the entire trip by sending us a list of historic sites, tours, activities and restaurants. We booked almost everything in advance with their help. It was like having our own local travel agent. The Riad was very stylish and cozy with attention to detail in every corner. Location was perfect next to Bahia palace and a taxi stop which was so convenient. Breakfast and Tea was amazing. Special thanks to the staff especially Abdu which was so genuine and friendly. By the end of the 5 days we felt like we have a little family in Marrakech!

Lighting in the bathroom was too dim, they also could provide more pillow options, a long mirror in each room would be nice. All are minor adjustments that could improve the experience.

The breakfast was exceptional! rooms very spacious and clean. The Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us throughout our staff. Laurent and Anne our hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They gave us all the information regarding activities and also helped book them. Provided us with 5 star service!! All their recommended places were amazing!! Quad biking, camp site dinner, Balloon ride, cooking class, hammam spa, restaurants were all enjoyed by our group. Would definitely go back and stay there'd would recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic property — very comfortable room, high quality bedding, beautiful interior, and great service. I only stayed for 3 nights but kind of felt like the staff was family by the end. They took great care of me, from owner Laurent walking me through a map of the town and recommending sights and restaurants to visit, to Munah and Abdul serving delicious food, learning my preferences, and just generally being there for anything I needed. Can’t say enough good things, highly recommend!

From the welcoming messages and check-ins we received in the weeks prior to our arrival I felt this might just be a special place to stay. But we couldn't have been more surprised by this gem hidden in the bustling streets of Marrakech. As you approach the beautiful restored wooden door there is a hint of something wonderful awaiting you. My husband and I were not disappointed. Anne and Laurent are welcoming, wonderful, kind and friendly hosts, who have lovingly returned the Riad to an exquisite 5* (and I do not exaggerate the 5*) oasis of calm where nothing is too much trouble and they and their staff cater to your needs without question. Upon arrival a refreshing cold towel, glass of iced water, traditional Moroccan welcome and a pair of Babouche await before you are shown around the stunning, and spotlessly clean, restored Riad. In our room everything was well thought through, the decor calming and luxurious, the floors heated and the bed heavenly. Breakfast on the roof terrace was an enjoyable feast each day and also a place to soak up some sunshine or sip on a refreshing drink at the end of a day exploring the Souks. We have nothing negative to say about our time spent at the Riad Antara and if you choose to stay here we hope you too will be delighted by the oasis of calm offered to you by Anne and Laurent.

Stunning! Excellent hosting from Laurent & Anne the owners and a special call out to Mr Abdul who looked after us so so very well! Sophisticated interiors all done with great taste! Super little touches like Moroccan slippers according to your shoe size, Moroccan sweets and tea on arrival, complementary glass of champagne before leaving, goody bag for flight as we had to leave late at night!

This is my second stay in the same property , and it gets better everytime you go there

I have noticed huge GCC and specially saudi tourist visiting morroco , and it was anounced that morroco was the largest city to visit in africa by saudi in 2024. I would recomend adding a toilet Shattaf / Toilet Sprayer. I had the same omment from multiaple people who visited the place and also arab people who i met in the same place as well.

Every single glowing review about this Riad is spot on! Impeccable service from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left! My husband, daughter and I stayed for 5 wonderful nights. First of all, the Riad is gorgeous! The design and decor are absolutely stunning. Every detail had style and purpose, and it was meticulously clean! The pool was warm and inviting, and we even took advantage of the spa and got massages in the private massage room. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the lovely rooftop almost every evening. It was perfection! The staff were all so kind and we felt so welcome and truly cared for. The two Armin’s were unbelievably helpful and did everything with kindness and a genuine smile. We never heard the word no. Anything you ask for, they respond, “whatever you like!” Mona served us breakfast everyday and she couldn’t have been sweeter. She even packed us a to go lunch when we left to head to the airport! The breakfast was a delicious spread of fruits, lavender yogurt, various Moroccan breads, jams and honey, and eggs any way you like. We only had dinner one night at the the Riad, but I wish we had planned for more. Laurent, the owner, made sure we had a spectacular 3 course meal. Laurent goes above and beyond for his guests. He organized our transfer from the airport and personally met us and the driver to help with our luggage and to guide us to the Riad, which was a very brief walk. He took the time to sit with us and go over a map and gave us great recommendations for restaurants, rooftops, sites to see, and more. He helped us organize a trip to the Agafay Desert and he even took our shoes sizes and gave us each a pair of Moroccan slippers. The location was perfect, close to the Bahia Palace and a 3 minute walk to some wonderful souks and restaurants. I’m so glad we stayed in this location, a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the Jemaa El Fna. Laurent and his staff made this trip a dream!

I celebrated my 50th birthday with a delightful stay at Riad Antara, and from the moment we stepped through the doors, Laurent, Anne, and their exceptional team provided us with impeccable service. We were greeted with refreshing mint tea and delectable dates. Breakfast was a delight, whether enjoyed on the rooftop terrace or in the charming ground-level dining room. Our entire stay was nothing short of incredible, and we felt thoroughly cared for. I can't wait to return.
