As soon as we met Nael and entered the Riad, we realized that we had chosen the ideal place for our stay in Marrakesh. The hospitality, friendliness and everything that was explained to us during check-in, were essential for us to feel safe and ready to set off to explore. All the team is extremely friendly and ready to answer any doubt or attend any special request. The room was beautiful, clean, comfortable! The terrace was spectacular, with views of the city. The breakfast was excellent! Varied and tasty! We stayed for a week and every day there was at least one different item. This is definitely a destination and place to visit again! We will be back! Thank you!

Everything! First thing to mention is the staff. I got a message from them before arrival with a map and some advise. When I arrived they put the ac for me, give me some traditional tea and biscuits. He explained when breakfast was, gave me a map and show me places to go to Marrakech. He even remembered my birthday after I checked out and went on travelling. Also, I told them I’d miss breakfast because I had to leave early and they prepared a small takeaway breakfast for me. Amazing hosts!

You don’t have own access to the riad, so the girl in reception has to wake up to let you in… and I felt a bit wrong.

Great location, staff friendly and helpful prior to arrival and during our stay. Met at the airport on time and taken to the Medina, then walked across the square by a member of staff to the Riad. If you've not been to Marrakech before I'd recommend being met until you can get your bearings. It cost 20euro roughly double the price of a taxi (100 diram) but worth it. Breakfast was lovely and served with a smile. Room was ideal, comfortable, clean and tidied daily. May have been nice to have the option of a hot drink either kettle in room or basic drinks menu in communal areas. On arrival gave good advice and tips about the local area. No issues on check in or check out. Really appreciated being able to store our luggage at the accommodation on day of departure while waiting for an evening flight. Made to feel welcome throughout our stay.

We liked the riad. It is very cozy, tastefully decorated and perfectly clean. They take care of you as if you were a dear guest. The staff is very attentive and responsive. In the morning, birds chirp right in the interior of the riad, they fly in during breakfast, it is very nice. The location is right in the medina, but from the street you get into another world. Very good quality of sleep, comfortable bed and complete silence. They helped us with the transfer to the airport and walked us straight to the car. I recommend this riad.

Hospitality was truly excellent. Upon arrival, which was early, staff immediately served mint tea and a snack and hauled luggage to the room which was up a floor. Day manager arranged a special tour of the Medina with Mubarak, who was extraordinary. Night manager handled all requests. She was still there at checkout the next morning and personally took me and luggage to a taxi several blocks away. This remarkable young woman was completing her undergraduate degree in physics while working overnight. Included breakfast was ample and tasty.

The property wasn't easy to find and the immediate area seemed a bit sketchy. I didn't feel comfortable coming and going by myself.

I stayed in this riad at the end of January 2024. I had a small single room, but it had everything I needed for my stay. I felt comfortable there. The riad is located in a quiet side street in the historical center, not far from the main square. Very good location. The riad itself is quiet and calm. In the morning you can hear birds singing, you can even meet birds during the breakfast. It is a very interesting experience! You need to walk a little to the main square. Nearby is the Koutoubia Mosque and a bus stop, from where you can easily get to the train station or the airport for a reasonable price. The riad itself looks very authentic and beautiful. There is a terrace on the top with a magnificent view. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. I would like to express special thanks to Yassmine, Maryam and Roqaya for their kindness and help with online check-in for the flight and creating good conditions for my stay in the riad. If I come to Marrakech again, I will definitely stay in this riad.

When you turn on the tap, cold water comes out, but you need to wait a couple of minutes and it will become warm. But this is not a disadvantage, but just a small clarification for those who plan to stay here.

La Cigale is a magical place. From the initial contact, we could already feel that we were in good hands. And the feeling only increased once we arrived. The staff is truly special, making us feel at home in the most delightful and yet unobtrusive way. The riad is even more beautiful than the photos. The room (Fatima) was lovely, intimate, colorful and comfortable. The location is perfect, close to every place we wanted to visit, and at the same time surprisingly quiet and restful. Did I mention the breakfasts under the morning sun? They were different every morning, surprising and always delicious. The riad even has its own private Hammam (!) and the treatment was among the best we’ve had. A delightful experience on every level! Can’t wait to return!

Having travelled a fair bit of the world over the last few years, I can wholeheartedly say that this accommodation has some of the best service and hospitality I've experienced. Nael and his team go above and beyond and they really are a credit to the riad and its guests. As for the riad itself, it has an excellent location in central Marrakesh. It's far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful but is close enough to make all the main attractions easily walkable. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you'd need and the breakfast every morning was superb and cooked to order. I couldn't recommend staying at this riad more if you're planning on visiting Marrakesh. I hope to visit again one day!

What I appreciated most during my stay at Riad La Cigale was the dedicated staff—Nael, Yassmine, and Roqaya. Their incredibly warm and friendly hospitality was truly remarkable, going out of their way to ensure my comfort. The Riad itself is a true gem: it is very clean, quiet, and ideally located in the vibrant heart of the Medina. Each morning brought a fantastic breakfast that added to the experience. I highly recommend this riad for an authentic stay in Marrakech.

This beautifully decorated Riad is a peaceful retreat located in easy walking distance from the main Jemaa el-Fnaa square, The service is exceptional: thoughtfully attentive to every detail, responsive to requests, warm and welcoming. Breakfasts served on the rooftop terrace were fresh-made, well-presented and delicious. For guests who wish to dine in, lunch or dinner can be booked in advance. To my delight, I was also able to book a cooking lesson (hoping to re-create the Riad's spectacular chicken tagine at home!). My room was spotless and had all the needed amenities, from high quality bath products to sufficient outlets for charging various devices. An on-site hammam is a bonus. This is a truly special property run by an outstanding team. Wholeheartedly recommend!
