Our stay in Riad Azzouz was excellent altogether. Before mentioning the most impressive element of our stay, I would like to positively mention the cleanliness, the breakfast, the inner courtyard and the rooftop. I would be remiss if i did not mention that this riad is somehow of an Oasis in the middle of Medina chaos (the good type of it, but chaos nonetheless) Now for the piece of resistance, we were absolutely impressed by Yassin, our do-gooder in all that was needed for our stay to be remarkable. He helped us with reservations at a fire show and dinner in the desert, advice on how to get around the medina and where everything is positioned, some tips and tricks on how to better negotiate some of the prices and pinpointed for us where some of the best museums, shops, restaurants and car rentals are. All in all, our stay was a very memorable one and if we come back to Marrakesh, this is the first place we will be looking for availability.

I don’t know where to start. The riad is in a very good location, because you want to be close to the main road where they usually pick you up for excursions what is like 3 min walk away, but the same time you’re in the middle of Medina. The market just on your step all the way through. The riad was amazing. Clean and beautiful. On the top of the riad have a roof terrace with a lovely little pool. We just relaxed on the sun beds for a while what was so comfortable we fallen asleep while birds was singing. The breakfast was just amazing and delicious. I don’t like tea but in Morocco is amazing! Homemade cookies by the ladies from their kitchen. It was my husband birthday I text prior our arrival if that’s possible to have a slice of cake and of course I’ll pay when I’m there, instead they made a whole cake with lovely singing from the whole crew and they don’t even wanted to charge for it. When I mentioned about their cookie and where I can buy it, they just made me a box of homemade cookies 🍪. Everyone who works there just amazing!!!!!!!!! From the ladies in the kitchen to guys taking care of customers on front. Thank you for all your hard work!!!!!! (And guys pls give a little extra when you leave, they deserve it and also you’ll love your time there if you choose THIS RIAD because it’s THE BEST!!

Beautiful traditional and original decor, cool air con rooms, a real hidden gem tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the magnificent medina! Quality service from all of the staff, super friendly and always available to help. Even baked and sang happy birthday for my mother whilst we enjoyed a delicious sunny rooftop poolside breakfast - couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you to all the amazing staff for making our stay memorable

The staffs. We love the staffs! Whatever we needed, they provided to us! The thing we would remember the most about this riad are - the staffs and the breakfast spread! So generous! And not to forget the riad is beautiful and in the middle of the souk!

Like other reviews, I think the entrance to the riad could be better! We arrived at midnight so it was very dodgy. I personally think the entrance has a potential to be decorated and cleaned nicely so the riad should really consider having a nice entrance as this is a recurring review! Another thing is that when we showered, the water overflows to the floor so maybe the hotel could improve on this as well, but these are not so serious!

We stayed in a twin bed room for 4 days/3 nights. The property is lovely with only a few rooms, so there’s plenty of space to relax on the terrace or in the lobby. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, Muna and Walid were especially kind and always went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our time. The Riad is conveniently located within walking distance from all the main attractions of Marrakesh, and it is very easy to walk to J’maa El Fnaa (once you know the way). Despite it being in the hub of the souk area, it is very quiet at night, but I would still recommend ear plugs just in case. As we went in January, having access to hot water in the shower was great. Would definitely recommend the taxi service the Riad offers for transport from the airport. It makes finding the Riad a lot easier and we were allowed to check in a little bit early. On our final day, we checked out at 12 but the Riad offered to hold our bags before our coach back. Breakfast was also lovely. Being able to sit on the terrace and watch the sunrise while eating Moroccan cuisine every morning was such a treat.

The Riad is quite nice a big house with rooms layout that helps to feel the quietness of the place. The staff are super attentive, Maha and Youssef were quite marvelous, they helped us arrange our transport and logistic around the city and even arranged a especial cake for our birthday girl - Maha was so kind with such a nice surprise and the other kitchen staff as well. We re such well looked after and such a warm reception.

The staff was so nice and friendly, they provided us with all the necessary information and guidance for the few days we spent in Marrakech. Mouna is a lovely person and treated us with care and love all the time. The heat in Marrakech was boiling during our stay and the pool was really refreshing after the walking days. Waking up and having the excellent breakfasts served by the pool was the best part of the day. Really recommend this Riad ❤️

One of the best experiences we had, the staff was delicate, honest, humble and very kind with us. It was our hooneymoon and we felt like we were home, the room was perfect, the rooftop is lively, the riad is near the secret garden as is near the place jemaa el fna, very easy to find. The breakfast was very good. Every member we've encountered was the most pleasant and trusthworthy we could get. A Huge thank you to the team, especially to the Boy who works night shift. Hope to comenack next year with our little ones.

Very clean, with nice rooftop terrace. Our room was well heated for winter nights when we stayed. Nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast too!

A beautiful Riad in the heart of the medina. The staff were welcoming and breakfast was impressive and substantial! The rooms were perfect and were cleaned daily. The location was ideal, but somewhat tricky to find on the first day as it is tucked away in a small alley, and taxis are unable to enter the small streets of the medina - therefore, I would suggest arranging transfer directly with the Riad if flying in to Marrakech
