This riad is so full of history, character and atmosphere. The 4 very generous ground floor bedrooms are accessed from the central courtyard / eating area. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. We were lucky enough to be able to eat there one evening and it was one of the best meals we had during our 2 week stay in Morocco. We tried unsuccessfuly to buy train tickets online from Meknès to Fes and when we expressed concern about not succeeding (it was a busy week with schools children on holiday), the manager Issam offered to go down to the train station himself to buy them for us, although it proved anything but straight forward even for him. Great location with easy access to the Mausoleum, Royal Palace area and Medina

The TV in the bedroom wasn't working

The building is just so stunning!! Our room was huge and very comfortable. Nice rooftop pool and terrace. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, laundry service, location was 10min drive from train station - we loved being tucked away near the palace down a quiet laneway. Great terrace restaurant 1min walk away.

The bathroom drains give off a rather foul smell :(

Inside the medina walls,close to one major ancient tomb. The hotel is an old Palace,very authentic and very old.beautiful interiors.

Amazing palace, beautiful room, huge bathroom, beautiful view from the terrace, helpful staff. TOP!

The service was very good, and the palace was amazing. You can feel the past splendour and the authenticity of the building. All the staff were very proud of it, but unfortunately, the actual situation of the building doesn't reflect its real potential.

The building needs refurbishment: sometimes, you feel like you're sleeping in an abandoned property. The experience was very positive for us, romantic in a way, but I can understand that this is not for everyone and not up to the hospitality standards of a property like this.

Aircon wasn’t working in my room. The pool had no water in it. The room felt a little unclean.
