Close to the sea. Great rooftop area for chilling out, also the sun terrace on the 2nd floor. Great view from our balcony out towards the beach

We booked a double room with en suite and sea view, although the room was clean and tidy it was lacking space to put suitcases so we didn’t unpack our the clothes the whole time we were there. Other than that can’t fault it

The location is perfect! It’s on the beach and at the heart of the center. We have got the large double room with a sea view which was soooo good! View is amazing, Sleeping with the sound of the waves are priceless. There is an AC in the room which was also good. The bed was so comfortable! - nice sleeps after long hours of surfing. There was a terrace in front of the room but it’s a common area but was ok. You just need to make sure you close the curtain when you are in the room even though the windows are mirrored, can slightly be seen through especially in the night. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have got heaps of foamies and you can land them free of charge when you stay there.

The only thing was that the towels and bed sheets need replacing. they got stains - just couldnt use the towels even though i know they are clean and smell of detergent and everything.

The host was very friendly and responsive. The location is perfect. Beach in front of the place and restaurants and cafes on walking distance. In fact whole taghazout is just nice to walk and explore. We stayed in the appartement with 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom was okay and has a ceiling ventilation. The 2nd room has a bunkbed and is a bit small. We also had a bedroom for 2 and this one was great. The bedroom for 2 with separate bathroom was also okay.

The place was moisty but I gues that's normal near the beach. The appartement was a bit noisy at night because its near a road that leads to the beach.

The staff has been 100% at our side since before the trip, fixing transfer that could load our 250cm surfboardbag. It is a hotel in a small fishermansvillage that happens to have some of Moroccos best surfwaves. You have to like adventures, small alleys, a life thats partly different from the one at home. If you just love to make new friends and see new things then Morocco and Taghazout will be a perfect spot and L Auberge will be a perfect place to stay. Right at the beach in the middle of the town. Lots of restaurants within minutes and the Panoramabeach close enough for a morning walk with your surfgear. Sppeking of surfgear you can store in in the reception and there is also space for your wetsuits. The staff kindly helped us store our big boardbag in a storage room during our stay. We have not decided where the next surftrip will head but maybe Taghazout and in that case definitely L Auberge :-)

The bathroom is really small, its convenient with an own shower but the floor in the bathroom gets kinda flooded. There is however a shared shower that also can be used

The guys running the place were amazing. They were incredibly kind and helpful, even allowing us to keep our luggage behind the front desk and enjoying the amenities of the Auberge after we checked out and were just waiting for our flight. The place itself is the definition of central and the views were beyond what we paid for. It’s a hostel at the end of the day so don’t expect the amenities of a 4/5 star hotel. But it is still one of the best hostels and dare I say hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It was clean, comfortable, friendly, and had gorgeous views. What more can you ask for?

I would highly recommend this hostel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, especially simon who made us feel so welcome. The location is stunning, directly on the beach and close to everything in the town. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean, honestly nothing bad to say!

There were only 3 sun loungers but most people come here to surf but woukd be nice if there were more places to lay in the sun but I appreciate space is limited. They could have a bar on the roof serving drinks and snacks.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at L'Auberge Taghazout! The location truly could not be more perfect — right in the heart of the charming village, with stunning views and easy access to everything Taghazout has to offer. Whether you're looking to surf, explore local cafes, or just relax by the beach, everything is within walking distance, making it the ideal base for any kind of adventure. What really set this place apart, though, was the incredible staff. I can't speak highly enough of Zak, who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. As a solo traveler, I was initially a bit nervous, but Zak made me feel completely at ease. He was always available, offering insightful recommendations about the best spots in Taghazout — whether it was finding good spots for the sunsent, exploring hidden gems in the area, or just pointing me to the best places to enjoy local food. His knowledge of the area and passion for sharing it made my stay so much more enriching and fun!! Zak was not just helpful, but genuinely kind and welcoming, which made all the difference in how comfortable and safe I felt throughout my trip. His personal touch really set the tone for my entire stay — it was like having a local friend looking out for you! I can't recommend L'Auberge Taghazout enough! From the prime location to the exceptional service, this place is perfect for anyone looking to experience the best of Taghazout. If you're traveling solo, like I was, or with friends, it's a fantastic choice. I’ll definitely be back!

The location is great, right in front of the beach with direct ocean view. The decoration and the vibe is pretty nice as well. Everything was very clean (both bedroom and private bathroom). To sleep hearing the sound of the waves is pretty awesome.

Since we booked the room with the private bathroom, we were expecting a bedroom with ocean view (because our reservation was significantly more expensive) and that did not happen, so there was no natural light in our room, which was disappointing. The bathroom was pretty small and not very convenient to get the towels inside without getting them wet. Other than that, it was a great experience and would be a 10 review if we had stayed in a room with ocean view and natural light.

It’s was so comfortable and the best location in Taghazout for sure, the view from my bedroom was incredible with a sun lounge terrace outside. But most importantly this has to be said the guy running the property ZAK was just an incredible human being who help me from Start to finish he is an absolute gem of a guy and was always asking if everything was ok and helping within minutes of texting him Probably the best I have had to deal with regarding hosts. Zak keep doing what you are doing you are a shining light 🙌🙌🙌 Chokran for everything and I hope to see you again soon Take care brother ❤️❤️

The best part about this hotel is the staff. They are all so friendly and willing to help! The location is perfect as you are near all the restaurants and the surf beach. The view from our private balcony was amazing! You could enjoy the beautiful sunset. The rooftop terrace is a nice place to relax.

The only negative thing is that the double bed room was a bit small. The bathrooms are not next to the room so have this in mind.
