The room was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The staff were super accommodating and friendly and went the extra mile!

The noise levels were quite high. I had to change rooms as the first room I stayed was on the top floor of the favela and it was so loud that it was very hard to sleep or relax.

The room we stayed in was beautiful, all the buildings have lovely decoration and it is very clean everywhere. The staff at reception, cleaners and on the roof for breakfast and dinner were wonderful. We ate there each morning, the food was always great and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We ate once on the rooftop, the food is slightly pricier but worth every penny! It is delicious, a lovely vibe and I would happily have paid more to be honest. We also ate at the other restaurant, which was busy because it was Eid, but the food still arrived in a timely manner and it was delicious. The staff were very busy but made sure everyone was taken care of. On this day we had a slightly sour interaction with one woman on reception, as she was seemingly rude for no reason and ignored us while she checked her make up in the toilet mirror, however it was busy so she may have been stressed. Other than that, all the staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views and sunset views. The location is great, it was comfortable and clean. I also got a free upgrade to a suite on my arrival

They don’t have an iron in the entire hotel! What type of hotel doesn’t have an iron?!when I asked for one, I was told to go to the laundry service across the building. Also they only have a small mirror above the bathroom sink. No other decent mirror to make sure you’re not leaving the hotel looking crazy🤷🏽‍♀️, this is particularly important for solo travelers! I also got food poisoning on my first night after eating a seafood salad and chorizo pizza at their restaurant.

The guesthouse and its staff was amazing. The breakfast was top notch and the staff helped me out to always have a glutenfree and vegan option available. Even if there wasn't an option on the menu, they whipped up an amazing risotto for me and came back with questions regarding any ingredients. This made me feel very safe and relaxed. The rooms were amazing, verry pretty and fully equiped to make our stay very pleasant. The staff was very helpful if we needed anything such as transport, help with cash or any other questions. I can definitely recommend Munga guesthouse if you want a topnotch holiday. The oceanview at breakfast or dinner was also amazing and perfect to start the day.

The only issue we encountered was, when we changed rooms. We booked 2 days short and also here, the staff was very helpful to book an extra 2 days. But when we changed rooms, the new room smelled of cigarettes.my boyfriend complained about this during the night and the next day we got a new room and accomodation. So very helpful of them and the new room was amazing again. Small hick up of an amazing stay. ;)

Everything - the style of the property, breakfasts, the staff… One of the best places I have ever stayed and already miss it!

We had the room in Favela building and sometimes guests coming down from the rooftop behaved loud at the corridor at night

Munga Guesthouse is a great place to stay for those who are looking for a stylish & comfortable middle ground between the luxury resorts and hostels in Taghazout. The breakfasts were excellent, the bedroom (while quirky) was very comfortable with a stunning view, and the hotel bar was a lot of fun.

While the team were super friendly, it was occasionally difficult to communicate with staff e.g. there was often no one on the front desk around lunchtime, and we received no reply to emails enquiring about the airport transfers.

Gorgeous decor, rooms straight out of a magazine, ideal location… The staff are all super amazing, sweet and helpful. Soukaina at reception was great both in preparation before arrival as well as when we were there with sometimes lots of questions🤭 Taxi rides with Hamid, surf lessons with Badr,… all super well organized with lovely people. Breakfast is just FABULOUS!! We had an amazing getaway 🧡

This goes for ALL accommodations in the area: bring earplugs for the night. The town has a welcoming, soozing vibe - but in a vibrant way. If you stay anywhere near the village centre or beach especially, so not just Munga, some sounds of that liveliness will find their way into your bedroom. (Not like party hardy or anything - just people living their lives and tourists enjoying their getaway.)

Incredible place to stay- certainly the best in Taghazout, if not in the whole of Morocco! The style of the place is beautiful and so much thought has gone into each room. The communal areas are really stylish and comfortable to relax in. The hotel has several buildings all close to each other. Our first night we spent in the main building but the hotel very kindly offered us a different room from the next night if we found it too noisy (which it was as we were above the bar) so then we spend the next 3 nights in their 3rd building which was just amazing. We had a gorgeous suite and spend many hours relaxing on the roof terrace with beautiful views of the sea. Breakfast is incredible- so much on offer- we ate far too much every day!! Thé breakfast staff were also so kind and helpful. We loved our stay and will certainly be back!

The staff were amazing, suer friendly and helpful, breakfast was incredible, such a wide array of food, catering to all diets (especially gluten free and vegan), and the location was perfect, with sea views from our room, and amazing panoramic view from the breakfast buffet/rooftop restaurant.

The only issue we found was that unfortunately there was mould on the (cotton/linen?) shower curtain, and I think some of the cushions and decorations were a bit musty, and for someone who is highly sensitive to mould, this wouldn't be the best choice. They did offer to change our rooms, but the other one was similar. This isn't something you can smell, so it would be fine for most people.

We loved the creativity and appreciated all the hard work that has gone into the decor. I’ve never been anywhere that reflects the culture and nature of the region so well. I love the stories of each room. It’s a unique and special place. It has a wonderful ambiance.

It might be tricky for people who struggle with stairs but I don’t know how you get round that! We wouldn’t have been happy if our room was nearer the noise downstairs but our room was just right!
