This is the newest and one of the best hotels in Tangier. I stayed here in February for 11 days and enjoyed every moment. The experience is like a 5 Star hotel. Below are some of the attributes that make this hotel exceptional. Staff – I have to say that the staff of Ben Batouta are the nicest you will ever meet in a hotel. Reception- Yasin ( Manager ) , Ali and Eysaam – Always greet you with a smile and happy to help with anything you need. Beautiful seating and waiting area in the entrance by the reception. Housekeeping – Youssef, Sukayna and the room service team ensure everything is super clean. Rooms – Excellent rooms with nice décor, clean bathrooms and lovely beds. Good views of the garden. Breakfast – Anouar always making sure you have everything you need. Ilyas the Chef always prepares delicious hot snacks for breakfast. Location – Hotel Ben Batouta is a bit far from the town centre but is near the Ibn Batouta airport. There is a Shell petrol station next to the hotel which sells snacks as well as having an onsite café where you can have lunch You could walk to the nearest small town of Boukhalef which has cafes, restaurants and retail shops. Turn left from the hotel and walk for 15 minutes. You can easily catch a bus or take a green taxi from there to the town centre. The hotel has a dedicated and trusted taxi service. I have been to Tangier over 40 times and stayed in many different hotels including the famous ones. In my opinion Hotel Ben Batouta is Simply the Best.

My rating is 8.7. It was a good experience overall, and I could have rated it higher, but there are some areas that need improvement. The facility is in a great location, close to the airport and easy to navigate through the city. It’s quiet, allowing for rest, and the staff is very cooperative.

The restaurant serves tasty food, but it closes at 11 PM, which can be inconvenient if you're returning late from exploring the city. However, there are some issues that need attention. The entertainment system in the rooms isn’t functioning properly, and there are certain restrictions that seem unnecessary. These are areas where the facility could improve to enhance the guest experience. Overall, I liked the facility, but with some adjustments, it could be even better.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ben Batouta in Tangier. The reception staff was incredibly welcoming, making check-in smooth and easy. A special shoutout to Othmane in the restaurant, who provided exceptional service and made every meal memorable. The hotel offers a charming atmosphere and outstanding hospitality, making it a top choice for anyone visiting Tangier.

Really close to the airport, 20mins walk ... Hotel staff is really friendly... Had exceptional service from Rida at the reception, he went out of his way to sort out the Aircon issue in my room and upgraded my stay... Uthman at the restaurant is really friendly and welcoming.. Rooms are very comfortable and clean ...overall a brilliant stay

Apparently they didn't have the central climate control working, room I was offered at first was too stuffy...

Loved everything about the property- from its location to their service to their interiors, everything was perfect! The rooms were really new and clean too, only thing is that both my dad and I got bitten by bugs after our night’s rest though the bed looks clean. Nonetheless, we will definitely visit again because it left an impression! Staff even accommodated to provide us room service as we didn’t prefer to dine at the restaurant since it was late and we were tired from our travels.

The location close to the airport was excellent as our flight arrived late in the evening. The overall experience was pretty good, the room was clean and the staff was helpful with our questions and it supported us in booking a taxi for the next day.

The taxi from the airport to the hotel is pretty expensive and given the proximity to it, it would make sense to offer some sort of shuttle. The bed in the room was nice but the mattress was not the most comfortable, it was quite hard.

Good value for money, location is good if you have a car, rooms are basic , bathroom needs maintaining,room 26 had water leaking from the shower,bad drainage,smell of food was up to the room, breakfast was good,staff are very friendly especially Ali, from breakfast was very helpful,Hanan from reception was very helpful

The location was perfect for my stay right before my flight out of Tangier, as it's 3 minutes from the airport. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful, helping organize a cab, offer recommendations and just overall so friendly. The room was comfortable and spotless with a comfy bed. I had both dinner and the free breakfast, which were great - the hotel has a lovely little terrace garden that is beautiful.

If you want a perfect holiday and great service in Tangier, you should not think of another hotel and stay here. The hotel was great! Hotel manager Yasin provided an extremely safe stay and took care of everything. I chose this place because it was my plane, but it was so beautiful that when I came back, I would definitely not look for another hotel and I will stay here again! I appreciate your exceptional service..

The hotel was clean and everything was perfect.

One day the water was cut off! As they said from outside! This is of course not acceptable but it could happen! They solve it within 12 hrs. And back normal. Because the hotel is new, there is no much staff around. Only few people for the services. They did them best to get our needs. But need more staff in the hotel.
