The entire place was a vibe. The pool side at night had a magical view with the stars and a really comfortable area to watch the lovely night sky. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The place has a very relaxing vibe and the staff was really kind and helpful at all times. The breakfast was exceptionally good especially the melon and the fresh orange juice. It was one of the best places I have stayed in and would definitely go back!!!!

Unique & fascinating Kasbah. Loved exploring the art, historical documents on display & the panoramic view from the roof. We stayed in the tower so had wonderful light all around. Buffet breakfast was a highlight plus having drinks around the pool was welcome. Loved all the signage in multiple language & the recycling system.

Be careful sitting on the edge of the pool - my husband got a mild chlorine burn on his legs.

This is a fab.place to stay....The room was clean.The bathroom had plenty of hot water and free toiletries and the air conditioning was perfect-very warm during the cold nights.The staff were friendly,helpful and welcoming.I want to mention in particular Hassan,David and Mouah....They always addressed me by name and made me feel very welcome....Food was top class. Hotel Tomboctou has an excellent restaurant with a great choice...I will return to this hotel.....Top marks....10 out of 10

I loved everything about Hotel Tomboctou

We were really happy to stay here. Felt very welcome right from the start. The House is beautiful and the people working here were so nice and friendly. There are parking spots available, which is good too. We had dinner in the Restaurant, because there were many vegan options. It was very tasty. Would love to stay here again in the future.

What we liked: very friendly staff, overall cleanliness, hot shower with strong jet, very good breakfast and diner, pool area (although we were not able to use it because of the cold weather), underground parking What we disliked: the bed and pillows were too firm Overall a very good place to stay, would recommend

This hotel is a fabulous gem. Beautiful rooms with comfortable pillow and beds, a lovely pool and an excellent restaurant. The breakfast is delicious and the dinner Tajines the best that we had in all of Morocco. Highly recomended!

The shower recess leaked water onto the floor but otherwise no issues.

Good location, beautiful place, lovely swimming pool, comfortable bed, good shower, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Really appreciated the staff member who drove me to the bus stop, as it wasn’t clear where it was and I would have likely missed the bus. Just be aware that the staff do speak English, better than my French, but they aren’t fluent, but we managed.

Lovely room with a view over the pool. Very historic building with great atmosphere. We were travelling on 2 motorcycles and really appreciated the secure underground garage parking. Food was good at dinner and breakfast and the hotel accommodated our vegetarian requirements very well. They also sell beer which is a rare treat in Morocco. We would recommend this hotel.

I loved this Riad. The staff was very friendly and ready to satisfy any request. The room was excellent and comfortable and large. The breakfast was excellent, very complete, the meals in the restaurant were delicious and at a very reasonable price. The pool was fantastic with a nice garden. Also have bear and wine available ! I will back :)

It was very easy to find, parking was very helpful. The staff were great, very helpful. Dinner was lovely, we really enjoyed it - especially the date cakes. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The palmerie is beautiful and well worth a visit!
